Our BizTalk Tale….
There once was a terrible EDI Dragon roaming the Park Nicollet world, ravaging any Knight which attempted to take it on. The Integration Knights called upon the special tool makers to quell the beast, but alas, they were defeated and the promises of great rewards made to the villagers were broken.
The slaying of the EDI beast was more than a year over due and the cost of this battle was higher than anticipated. Talk of torches and pitchforks reverberated through the hillside.
Gallant Sir Francis and his trusty Sorcerer Andrew traveled far west, to the Land of Microsoft. Sharing our story of the EDI Dragon, they explained to the Shining Knights of BizTalk how our village had been torched and left in ruins.

BizTalk, A Possible Solution?
Hearing our troubles with the EDI Dragon and our desire to orchestrate web services the Shining Knights of Biztalk brought forth a challenge.
“Give us one week of your time and we will do a proof of concept to demonstrate how BizTalk can tame that EDI Dragon!”
The challenge made, Sir Francis and Andrew the Sorcerer were quick to agree.
The solution had to meet our Integration Strategy Criteria:
1. Standards Based (.NET or J2EE)2. Had to be Scalable3. Provide High Availability
