Walking down a small foot path thru the mountains in Bavaria we discovered asmall workshop with dirt floors hardened from centuries of toil. Inside a lone“Metalschmeide” (metalsmith) produces and repairs medieval weaponry for castlesin Germany with the same techniques passed from generation to generation forover 500 years. We were enthralled with all that we saw! Unfortunately we wereonly allowed to purchase a few pieces as this old-time family craftsman does notdesire or have the time to produce items in quantity. Since we knew ourcustomers would love to revel in the splendor of owning their own “AuthenticsTM”museum quality medieval weaponry, we had our skilled RittersteelTM craftsmenfaithfully reproduce these functional ancient weapons of the Medieval Age andearlier with the same quality and many of the techniques that were used to produce the originals!

found in “digs” under and around the castles of Europe. This hand-craftedmasterpiece features a blackened steel ball with spikes over 2-1/2" long
