- Nobile fulcrum: in case of an accident on the water the fulcrum can be easily disassembled and put to-gether with just one hand.

- 100% depower: all Nobile kites feature 100% depower, and can be easily relaunched from the water. After an accident you do not need to take your kite back to the shore.

- In extreme situations, all Nobile kites can be landed by rider, without a help of another person.

- Soft and fl exible grab handle: we reduced to a mini-mum the possibility of injury caused by a grab handle in case of crash

- Orange accessories: The color is exactly the same as used for rescue equipment – it will help you to fi nd you kiteboard when you drop it on the water

I'm local from Lagoa do Cauipe, Brasil, It was at my local spot where I saw somebody kiteboarding for the fi rst time. It was foreigner who visited Brazilian spots to train. I really liked it and started to learn how to kitesurf.

This year for the fi rst time I started to com-pete in PKRA, it's really important for me to take part in this Championship. I'm also for the fi rst time in Europe and I must admit I’m really happy about that.

so many others do, sitting still. School was boring to me. When I was younger it was always climbing that was most interesting - everything from walls to trees. (…)

One day I saw a guy jumping 3-4m in the air and pull rotations while kitesurfi ng, so, I laid down my windsurfi ng gear, sold the car and bought myself some kite gear. I entered my fi rst competition 6 months later, the Swedish nationals in 2002, and won. Ever since then I have been committed fully to kitesurfi ng.

(…) My ultimate goal is to keep the progression of kiteboarding moving forward, Kiting is an incredibly diverse sport where riders can boost big air, pop board tricks, riding rails and ramps, kiting on snow and there are even speed junkies. I would like to continue seeing progression in my speciality, wakestyle, high speed, powered up moves involving hard landings and tough moves.

Before I become a professional kiter I worked as a company executive. Everyday I had to be in the offi ce and control 30 people who worked for me.

I did not like it...

A n d i M e d e r

I started kitesurfi ng in 2005 in Egypt, when kites were real C-kites and wind was always blowing 100%, briefl y, back in the days everything was better ;-)

My year 2011 was sick! Five weeks in the Caribbean, fi ve weeks at the North Sea and then some extra 11 weeks in Brazil with 100% wind and lots of fun.

As you can imagine kitesurfi ng is pretty important to me, it´s my number one sport right besides jogging, minigolf, chinese checkers and darts :D

Last year I started paragliding, which is also really nice. You can go slow, enjoy the silence and stunning views high up over the Alps. But you can also do some freaky acrobatic manoeuvres to shock your parents. In winter I go backcountry skiing, speedriding or snowboarding, everything to have some fun.

Being a clinical psychologist, it’s been a priority to have people look at what makes them happy. When I started kiting I quickly realized being on the water was such a thing for me, and so the last years has been a good combination of psychology & kiting. It has become important to focus on what makes my life meaningful.

Kiting taught me a lot about how easy it actually can be to make changes. I got rid of all my furniture and the nice car knowing I will get those things at a later point, but what I won’t get back are the years of my life. Besides learning that big changes are not too hard to make, the best wisdom from kiting is becoming more spontaneous. Chasing the wind made me discover a lot of new places and being out in nature has become a higher priority.

"Find a passion, make it your work, and you will not have to work a single day in your life". I don't know who said that, but this person is rather wise.

Kiteboarding for me is more than a passion, it now makes my lifestyle, dreams, mood. This sport has really become the main way I express myself. It gives a chance to develop yourself, to reveal your fears, step over it and go further.

Right after graduation, I quit the job for happy hippy living for couple of months. Due to kiteboarding these couple of months of the sea, wind and sun still last:)

I started teaching kiteboarding to be always at the water, ready to kite. I thought being a kiteboard instructor would be an advantage. It turned out to be not at all :)

Now we organize freestyle camps for russian riders, it is interesting but so pity when you spend 1-2 windy weeks just teaching and watching others kiting.

But I am happy to share my skills with others and happy to see them reaching their dreams.

What is more important for me, kitesurf style of living lets me do other things I love to do - yoga, meditations, singing songs and playing the guitar. I love the way I live now.

T5-Koinobori is a an all-round hybrid kite designed to bring a smile to riders’ faces. Fast, direct, responsive and forgiving, this kite delivers striking performance and in-credible hangtime. Hybr id C-Shape

50Fifty is a a hybrid C kite featuring ad-vantages of both C-shape and bow types. In the middle of the kite you will fi nd the fl oating strut. Not only it’s lightweight, but also absorbs the vibrations caused by sudden gusts of wind and eliminates fl ut-tering of the kite. Additionally, side struts were redesigned. Thanks to aerodyna-mics – based innovations, the kite is fast (less drag), quickly loose it’s power when necessary (you’ll appreciate this feature while performing new school tricks) and features excellent depower. Large sur-face kite wing tips improve kite’s agility and secure accurate (not too much) bar pressure.

50Fifty is a powerful kite, that replies with excellent lift and POP combined with constant power while performing tricks. The Vanity binding has gone through a „great makeover” due to its new fl amboyant looks and the heavy duty Velcro straps which have replaced the laces. Still it’s designed to meet the demands of the open toe high end rider who doesn’t want to switch to a closed toe binding.

The Velcro straps allow fast entry & exit and make sure that you have enough support and feel tuned in on the water.

The fl ex zones on the ankle area and on the heel bring all the necessary fl ex you need.

NOBILE Pump

All Nobile fi ns made of PA 33% Glass are produced in „Click&go” tool-free mounting standard. It takes just a few seconds to mount/demount fi ns with your bare hands. A screwdriver is no longer necessary. Fins are made in extremely high visibility, „ultra orange” color, so you always know where you dropped your precious kiteboard. For 2013 we redesigned the mounting system to provide a stronger connection between fi n and board. It’s also easier and faster to mount and demount the fi ns. Fits only Nobile boards with „Click&Go” system.

G10 Epoxy fi ns are available as additional accessory. Those versatile fi ns (fi ts all kiteboards) comes in two sizes: 55mm and 35mm.

The Nobile double action kite pump is ideally suited to pump any kites. The pump features a removable top to ensure any sand or debris can be removed - keeping the pump in action for longer. It also features a hard wearing and corrosion free aluminium shaft and multiple attachments to infl ate and defl ate various infl atables.

STRONGER – LIGHTER – BETTER RESPONSIVENESS

Prestressing means the intentional creation of initial tension in a structure for the purpose of impro-ving its strength properties.

The concept of pre-stressed structure is widely employed in the design of buildings, underground structures, TV towers, power stations, fl oating storage and offshore facilities, nuclear reactor vessels, and numerous kinds of bridge systems.

The idea of prestressing was, apparently, familiar to the ancient Rome architects; the tall attic wall of the Colosseum works as a stabilizing device for the wall piers beneath.*

In kiteboarding, pre-stress allows the board to be loaded with energy during production. Storing the energy inside the board makes it a bit more stiff and much more torsion resistant, which results in astonishing POP. Pre-Stress technology

also allows us to build thinner and lighter boards, yet still more durable.

3-D Technology

3D Technology developed by Nobile is still an unmatched milestone in the area of kiteboard construc-tion. Advanced fl ex management provided by 3D Tech makes the board extraordinarily comfortable on landings, gives it magnifi cent impact resistance and tons of control. 3D Technology allows more fl ex in selected areas of the board. As a result, the board features shorter reaction time and better response, whilst still remaining easy to ride and forgiving.

Pop Grower

This special “W” shape cut keeps the tips of the board really fl exible to provide explosive pop. It’s like pieces of Semtex mounted under the tip and tail of the board, so you can now fl y higher than anyone else at the spot.

Dynamic Asymmetrical Outline/Shape

Dynamic Asymmetrical Outline is designed around the Human Concept, to enhance your performance and work in harmony with your body.We have tailored the outline of the heel side rail to provide more grip, better upwind performance and maximum POP. On the weaker toe side, the curve radius is increased to improve the carving potential and comfort. At the same time DAS decreases the foot pressure necessary to hold an edge.

Hydrodynamic Rocker Line

Hydrodynamic Rockerline was developed after careful analysis of water movement under the kiteboard. Hydrodynamic Profi le is designed to reduce water drag, optimizing the board shape directly to the water fl ow. The advantages over traditional rocker with a fl at center are increased board speed and improved acceleration.

Elliptical Progressive Concave

The Elliptical Progressive Concave combines the advantages of both a fl at-bottomed board and concave. The tail area is completely fl at, whilst the centre section of the board features concave. This shape benefi ts from earlier planning.

CAV - Complete Anti-Vibration Technology

By using advanced core materials, laminates and variable fl ex zones, we managed to eliminate almost all vibrations that occur during the ride. CAV not only makes the ride smoother and faster, but also provides exceptional grip in all conditions.

Woodcore

There is no better material for a board core than wood. With its harmonious characteristic, combining strength, fl ex, light weight and vibration damping, wood is still the uncrowned king of core materials.

Honeycomb

This aerospace product has found its sweet spot in kiteboarding technology as well. It’s 90% lighter than wood, but has great durability. Placed in different areas depending on board model, it reduces weight, gives pop, improves tensional response and allows accurate fl ex adjustment.

X-Reactive Flex System

X layout of Carbon and Kevlar is a perfect combination. While Carbon supports rebound forces and edge grip, Kevlar reduces vibrations to minimum. Together this results in excellent pop, quick response and optimal torsion.

Extruded Base

This base combines reliably good running properties with high durability.

TRIP technology

lifts up the board edges at the points where the sidecut meets tip and tail of the board, providing easier turn initiation, safer landings and catch-free straight riding.

ABS Sandwich Construction

This industry standard construction provides direct power transfer to the edges and vibration dam-ping, resulting in easy to handle and precise boards.

Triax

This layout of fi bers transfers power directly to the edges and creates perfect fl ex. As a result the board features aggressive fi lling, quick response and harmonious fl exibility.

Power Plates

Additional biax fi ber laminate underneath the binding area improves power transfer to the edges with great damping properties.
