The most commonly used method of Cabinet Blasting is Suction Blast. This design combines the advantages of minimal compressed air requirements, standard mesh Abrasive Media and simple operating techniques. Suction Blast systems provide a particularly economical solution to most Abrasive Blasting applications. Suitable for most types of Abrasive Media including Glass Bead, Garnet, Plastic, Ceramic and Aluminium Oxide.

Burwell’s Pressure Blast Cabinets are so powerful that most blasting jobs are done at 8 to 10 times the speed of Conventional Suction Blasting Systems. In Pressure Blasting, a closely regulated Abrasive Media flow is air propelled from a Pressure Vessel, through the Blast Nozzle and to the work surface at pressures up to 1035 kPa (150 PSI). Unlike Suction Blast where there are some restrictions to the specific weight of the Abrasive Media, Pressure Blast Systems can accommodate all Abrasive Media on the market today.

• Heavy duty design and construction ensures high wear resistance, ultimate performance and extreme durability in the most demanding blasting applications.

• Workcover approved 10 bar (150 PSI) heavy duty blast machine built by Burwell to Australian Standards 1210 - 2010 Amendment 1-2013.
