1.0 Chemicals

You can find alot of chemicals in Drug Stores. Alot of other chemicalscan be obtained in other places such as Corner Stores or Hard Warestores. Though there are some chemicals which you may need which areimpossible to buy at most stores. I tried to buy Lead Acidt and it wasa hell trying to find a chemical store which would sell it. You bestway of getting chemicals to either get them from school or get a holdof a friend working in a Chemical factory. They could steal it and giveit to you if you bribe them well.

1.1 Chemical Laws

You must keep in mind that the finished product which you make can beillegal depending on the state law. If you are caught using dynamitein a state which bans it. You WILL be charged. I know that in Califonia

that smoke screens are illegal. But Bottle Rockets ain't. Howeverin Canada. Everything is illegal from Dynamite to Fire crackers andbottle rockets. So be more careful there.

2- How to get out of a blood or DNA test:

This will only work if your of 16 years or over.

every now and then police will not have enough proof to lock you up, there for they may need a blood testor DNA test.what you do is refuse to take one, by saying you are jehova's witness (whether you are or not),this way the police cannot touch you with any needles or shit like that.===============================================================================================================

3- Rip off change machines:

now you and i both know that change machines are true bitches, because they steal our money and look ugly, now

its time for revenge!You first get a nice new dollar to work with. Make sure there are no rips in it.Now, you get a thin piece oftransparent plastic about 3/4 the width of the actual dollar. It must be a good6" or longer. Next, you needsome transparant tape. Scotch magic tape will work the best. You simply tape theplastic strip to the dollar.But, you must be careful not to tape it more than 1/2" up the side of the dollar. tape it on both sides (frontand back, not top and bottom) of the dollar. Now, all you have to do is use it:Walk casually up to thesecluded machine. Take out your dollar, and put it into the machine. BE CAREFUL!Some of the more modern

change machines have alarms! Most likely, though, drink or candy machines will not. Now, the machine startstaking your dollar.... You wait until your plastic strip is almost all the wayinto the machine, and thenyou pull with sufficient force to get the dollar out of the machine, but not ripit. If You did it correctly,you should have gotten whatever you bought, and still have your dollar for later use.===============================================================================================================

4- Making Plastic Explosives from Bleach

Potassium chlorate is an extremely volatile explosive compound, and has been used in the past as the maimexplosive filler in grenades, land mines, and mortar rounds by such countries asFrance and Germany. Commonhousehold bleach contains a small amount of potassium chlorate, which can be extracted by the procedure thatfollows.

First off, you must obtain:

1. A heat source (hot plate, stove, etc.)2. A hydrometer, or battery hydrometer

3. A large Pyrex, or enameled steel container (to weigh chemicals)4. Potassium chloride(sold as a salt substitute at health and nutrition stores)

Take one gallon of bleach, place it in the container, and begin heating it. While this solution heats, weighout 63 grams of potassium chloride and add this to the bleach being heated. Constantly check the solution beingheated with the hydrometer, and boil until you get a reading of 1.3. If using abattery hydrometer, boil

until you read a FULL charge.

Take the solution and allow it to cool in a refrigerator until it is between room temperature and 0°C. Filterout the crystals that have formed and save them. Boil this solution again and cool as before. Filter and savethe crystals.

Take the crystals that have been saved, and mix them with distilled water in thefollowing proportions: 56grams per 100 milliliters distilled water. Heat this solution until it boils andallow to cool. Filter the

solution and save the crystals that form upon cooling. This process of purification is called "fractionalcrystallization". These crystals should be relatively pure potassium chlorate.

Powder these to the consistency of face powder, and heat gently to drive off allmoisture.

Now, melt five parts Vaseline with five parts wax. Dissolve this in white gasoline (camp stove gasoline),and pour this liquid on 90 parts potassium chlorate (the powdered crystals fromabove) into a plastic bowl.Knead this liquid into the potassium chlorate until intimately mixed. Allow allgasoline to evaporate.

Finally, place this explosive into a cool, dry place. Avoid friction, sulfur, sulfides, and phosphorouscompounds. This explosive is best molded to the desired shape and density of 1.3grams in a cube and dippedin wax until water proof. These block type charges guarantee the highest detonation velocity. Also, a blastingcap of at least a 3 grade must be used.

The presence of the afore mentioned compounds (sulfur, sulfides, etc.) results in mixtures that are orcan become highly sensitive and will possibly decompose explosively while in storage. You should never storehomemade explosives, and you must use EXTREME caution at all times while performing the processes in thisarticle.===============================================================================================================

5- Thermite II

Thermite is nasty shit. Here is a good and easy way to make it. The first step is to get some iron-oxide(which is RUST!). Here is a good way to make large quantities in a short time:

Get a DC converter like the one used on a train set. Cut the connector off, separate the wires, and stripthem both.

Now you need a jar of water with a tablespoon or so of sodium chloride (which isSALT!) added to it. This makesthe water conductive.

Now insert both wires into the mixture (I am assuming you plugged the converterin...) and let them sit for

five minutes. One of them will start bubbling more than the other. This is thePOSITIVE(+) wire. If you do notdo this test right, the final product will be the opposite (chemically) of rust, which is RUST ACID. You haveno use for this here (although it IS useful!).

Anyway, put the nail tied to the positive wire into the jar. Now put the negative wire in the other end. Nowlet it sit overnight and in the morning scrape the rust off of the nail & repeat until you got a bunch of ruston the bottom of the glass. Be generous with your rust collection. If you are going through the trouble of

making thermite, you might as well make a lot, right?Now remove the excess water and pour the crusty solution onto a cookie sheet. Dry it in the sun for a fewhours, or inside overnight. It should be an orange-brown color (although I haveseen it in many differentcolors! Sometimes the color gets fucked up, what can I say... but it is still iron oxide!)

Crush the rust into a fine powder and heat it in a cast-iron pot until it is red. Now mix the pure iron oxidewith pure aluminum filings which can be bought or filed down by hand from an aluminum tube or bar. The ratio

or iron oxide to aluminum is 8 grams to 3 grams.

Congrats! You have just made THERMITE! Now, to light it...

Thermite requires a LOT of heat (more than a blow torch!) to ignite. However, magnesium ribbon(which is sort of hard to find.. call around) will do the trick. It takes theheat from the burningmagnesium to light the thermite.

Now when you see your victim's car, pour a fifty-cent sized pile onto his hood,stick the ribbon in it,and light the ribbon with the blow torch. Now chuckle as you watch it burn through the hood, the block,the axle, and the pavement. BE CAREFUL! The ideal mixtures can vaporize CARBON STEEL! Another idea is touse thermite to get into pay phone cash boxes.===============================================================================================================

6- Touch Explosives" ammonium triiodide crystals" "nitrogen triiodide"

This is sort of a mild explosive, but it can be quite dangerous in large quantit

ies. To make touch explosive(such as that found in a snap-n-pop, but more powerful), use this recipe:

Mix iodine crystals into ammonia until the iodine crystals will not dissolve into the ammonia anymore. Pouroff the excess ammonia and dry out the crystals on a baking sheet the same wayas you dried the thermite(in other words, just let it sit overnight!).

Be careful now because these crystals are now your touch explosive. Carefully wr

ap a bunch in paper (I meancarefully! Friction sets 'em off!) and throw them around.. pretty loud, huh? They are fun to put on someone'schair. Add a small fish sinker to them and they can be thrown a long distance (good for crowds, footballgames, concerts, etc.)Ammonium triiodide crystals are foul-smelling purple colored crystalsthat decompose under the slightest amount of heat, friction, or shock, if theyare made with the purest ammonia (ammonium hydroxide) and iodine. Suchcrystals are said to detonate when a fly lands on them, or when an ant walksacross them. Household ammonia, however, has enough impurities, such as soapsand abrasive agents, so that the crystals will detonate when thrown,crushed,

or heated. Ammonia, when bought in stores comes in a variety of forms. Thepine and cloudy ammonias should not be bought; only the clear ammonia shouldbe used to make ammonium triiodide crystals. Upon detonation, a loud report isheard, and a cloud of purple iodine gas appears about the detonation site.Whatever the unfortunate surface that the crystal was detonated upon willusually be ruined, as some of the iodine in the crystal is thrown about in asolid form, and iodine is corrosive. It leaves nasty, ugly, permanentbrownish-purple stains on whatever it contacts. Iodine gas is also bad news,since it can damage lungs, and it settles to the ground and stains thingsthere also. Touching iodine leaves brown stains on the skin that last forabout a week, unless they are immediately and vigorously washed off. Whilesuch a compound would have little use to a serious terrorist, a vandal couldutilize them in damaging property. Or, a terrorist could throw several of

them into a crowd as a distraction, an action which would possibly injure afew people, but frighten almost anyone, since a small crystal that may not beseen when thrown produces a rather loud explosion.

Ammonium triiodide crystals could be produced in the following manner:

Materials EquipmentÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄiodine crystals funnel and filter paper

paper towelsclear ammonia(ammonium hydroxide, two throw-away glass jarsfor the suicidal)

1) Place about two teaspoons of iodine into one of the glass jars. The jarsmust both be throw away because they will never be clean again.

2) Add enough ammonia to completely cover the iodine.

3) Place the funnel into the other jar, and put the filter paper in thefunnel. The technique for putting filter paper in a funnel is taught inevery basic chemistry lab class: fold the circular paper in half, so that asemi-circle is formed. Then, fold it in half again to form a triangle withone curved side. Pull one thickness of paper out to form a cone, and placethe cone into the funnel.

4) After allowing the iodine to soak in the ammonia for a while, pour thesolution into the paper in the funnel through the filter paper.

get one locally, write to Microwave Associates in Burlington, Massachusetts andask them for info on 'Gunnplexers' forham radio use. When you get the unit it may be mounted in a plastic box on the dash or in a weather-proof enclosure behindthe PLASTIC grille. Switch on the power when on an open highway. The unit willnot jam radar to the side or behind the carso don't go speeding past the radar trap. An interesting phenomena you will not

ice is that the drivers who are in front ofyou who are using detectors will hit their brakes as you approach large metal signs and bridges. Your signal is bouncingoff of these objects and triggering their radar detectors!

The ads in there tell you where you can get all kinds of info on all kindsof neat equipment for all kinds of neat things!===============================================================================================================

13- Smoke Bombs

Here is the recipe for one hell of a smoke bomb!

4 parts sugar6 parts potassium nitrate (Salt Peter)

Heat this mixture over a LOW flame until it melts, stirring well. Pour it into afuture container and, beforeit solidifies, imbed a few matches into the mixture to use as fuses. One pound of this stuff will fill up awhole block with thick, white smoke!

14- Mail Box Bombs

1. Two liter bottle of chlorine (must contain sodium hypochlorate)2. Small amount of sugar3. Small amount of water

Mix all three of these in equal amounts to fill about 1/10 of the bottle. Screwon the lid and place in amailbox. It's hard to believe that such a small explosion will literally rip themailbox in half and sendit 20 feet into the air! Be careful doing this, though, because if you are caught, it is not up to the personwhose mailbox you blew up to press charges. It is up to the city.===============================================================================================================

15- How to make a fertilizer bomb

Ingredients:

Newspaper

Fertilizer (the chemical kind, GREEN THUMB or ORCHO)CottonDiesel fuel

Make a pouch out of the newspaper and put some fertilizer in it. Then put cottonon top. Soak the cotton withfuel. Then light and run like you have never ran before! This blows up 500 square feet so don't do it in analley!!================================================================================

16- Diskette BombsYou need:

A diskScissorsWhite or blue kitchen matches (they MUST be these colors!)Clear nail polish

1. Carefully open up the diskette (3½" disks are best for this!)2. Remove the cotton covering from the inside.

3. Scrape a lot of match powder into a bowl (use a wooden scraper, metal might spark the matchpowder!)4. After you have a lot, spread it evenly on the disk.5. Using the nail polish, spread it over the match mixture6. Let it dry7. Carefully put the diskette back together and use the nail polish to sealit shut on the inside(where it came apart).

When that disk is in a drive, the drive head attempts to read the disk, which causes a small fire(ENOUGH HEAT TO MELT THE DISK DRIVE AND FUCK THE HEAD UP!!). Let the fuckhead try and fix THAT!!!

17- Fuses

You would be surprised how many files are out there that use what falls under the category of a "fuse."They assume that you just have a few lying around, or know where to get them. Well, in some parts of thecountry, fuses are extremely hard to come by... so this file tells you how to make your own. Both fuses=presented here are fairly simple to make, and are fairly reliable.

SLOW BURNING FUSE - 2 inches per minute

Materials needed:

Cotton string or 3 shoelacesPotassium Nitrate or Potassium ChlorateGranulated sugar

Procedure:

1. Wash the cotton string or shoelaces in HOT soapy water, then rinse with

fresh water

2. Mix the following together in a glass bowl:

1 part potassium nitrate or potassium chlorate1 part granulated sugar2 parts hot water

3. Soak strings or shoelaces in this solution

4. Twist/braid 3 strands together and allow them to dry

5. Check the burn rate to see how long it actually takes!!===============================================================================================================

18- FAST BURNING FUSE - 40 inches per minute

Materials needed:

Soft cotton stringFine black powder (empty a few shotgun shells!)Shallow dish or pan

Procedure:

1. Moisten powder to form a paste.

2. Twist/braid 3 strands of cotton together.

3. Rub paste into string and allow to dry.

4. Check the burn rate!!!===============================================================================================================

19- How to make Potassium Nitrate

Potassium Nitrate is an ingredient in making fuses, among other things. Here ishow you make it:

Materials needed:

3½ gallons of nitrate bearing earth or other material½ cup of wood ashesBucket or other similar container about 4-5 gallons in volume2 pieces of finely woven cloth, each a bit bigger than the bottom of the bucketShallow dish or pan at least as large in diameter as the bucketShallow, heat resistant container2 gallons of waterSomething to punch holes in the bottom of the bucket1 gallon of any type of alcoholA heat sourcePaper & tape

Procedure:

1. Punch holes on the inside bottom of the bucket, so that the metal is "puckered" outward from thebottom.

2. Spread cloth over the holes from the bottom.

3. Place wood ashes on the cloth. Spread it out so that it covers the entire cloth and has about thesame thickness.

4. Place 2nd cloth on top of the wood ashes.

5. Place the dirt or other material in the bucket.

6. Place the bucket over the shallow container. NOTE: It may need support on the bottom so that the holeson the bottom are not blocked.

7. Boil water and pour it over the earth very slowly. Do NOT pour it all atonce, as this will clog thefilter on the bottom.

8. Allow water to run through holes into the shallow dish on the bottom.

9. Be sure that the water goes through ALL of the earth!

10. Allow water in dish to cool for an hour or so.

11. Carefully drain the liquid in the dish away, and discard the sludge in the bottom.

12. Boil this liquid over a fire for at least two hours. Small grains of salt will form - scoop theseout with the paper as they form.

13. When the liquid has boiled down to ½ its original volume let it sit.

14. After ½ hour, add equal volume of the alcohol; when this mixture is poured

through paper, smallwhite crystals appear. This is the potassium nitrate.

Purification:

1. Redissolve crystals in small amount of boiling water.

2. Remove any crystals that appear.

3. Pour through improvised filter then heat concentrated solution to dryness.

4. Spread out crystals and allow to dry.===============================================================================================================

20- Exploding Lightbulbs

Materials needed:

Lightbulb (100w)Socket (duh...)¼ cup soap chipsBlackpowder! (open some shotgun shells!)

¼ cup kerosene or gasolineAdhesive tapeLighter or small blowtorch

Glue

Procedure for a simple exploding lightbulb:

1. Drill a small hole in the top of the bulb near the threads!

2. Carefully pour the blackpowder into the hole. Use enough so that it touc

hes the filament!

3. Insert into socket as normal (make sure the light is off or else YOU will be the victim!!)

4. Get the hell out!!

Procedure for a Napalm Bulb:

1. Heat kerosene/gasoline in a double boiler.

2. Melt soap chips, stirring slowly.

3. Put somewhere and allow to cool.

4. Heat the threads of the bulb VERY carefully to melt the glue. Remove threads, slowly drawing out thefilament. Do NOT break the cheap electrical igniters and/or the filament or thiswon't work!!

5. Pour the liquid into the bulb, and slowly lower the filament back down into the bulb. Make sure thefilament is dipped into the fluid.

6. Re-glue the threads back on. Insert it into a socket frequently used by

the victim and get the hellout!!

When the victim flips the switch, he will be in for a BIG surprise!===============================================================================================================

21- Mace Substitute

3 parts Alcohol½ part Iodine½ part Salt

-or-3 parts Alcohol1 part Iodized Salt (Mortons)

It's not actual mace, but it does a damn good job on the eyes...===============================================================================================================

22- Sodium Chlorate

Sodium Chlorate is a strong oxidizer used in the manufacture of explosives. It can be used in place ofPotassium Chlorate.

Material Required:2 carbon or lead rods (1 in. diameter by 5 in. long)

Strip about 4 inches of insulation from both ends of the two wires.4. With knife and sticks, shape 2 strips of wood 1 by 1/8 by 1-½. Tie the woo

d strips to the lead orcarbon rods so that they are 1-½ inches apart.5. Connect the rods to the battery in a motor vehicle with the insulated wire.6. Submerge 4-½ inches of the rods in the salt water solution.7. With gear in neutral position, start the vehicle engine. Depress the accelerator approx. 1/5 of itsfull travel.8. Run the engine with the accelerator in this position for 2 hours, then shut it down for 2 hours.9. Repeat this cycle for a total of 64 hours while maintaining the level ofthe acid-salt water solutionin the glass jar.

CAUTION: This arrangement employs voltages which can be quite dangerous!Do not touch bare wire leads while engine is running!!

10. Shut off the engine. Remove the rods from the glass jar and disconnect wire leads from the battery.11. Filter the solution through the heavy cloth into a flat pan or tray, leaving the sediment at the bottomof the glass jar.12. Allow the water in the filtered solution to evaporate at room temperature (approx. 16 hours). Theresidue is approximately 60% or more sodium chlorate which is pure enough to be

1. Dilute 5 teaspoons of nitric acid with 2-½ teaspoons of clean water in a glass container by addingthe acid to the water.2. Dissolve 1/8 teaspoon of mercury in the diluted nitric acid. This will yield dark red fumes. NOTE:It may be necessary to add water, on drop at a time, to the mercury-acid solution in order to start a reaction.

CAUTION: Acid will burn skin and destroy clothing. If any is spilled, wash it away with a large quantity ofwater. Do NOT inhale fumes!

3. Warm 10 teaspoons of the alcohol in a container until the alcohol feelswarm to the inside of thewrist.4. Pour the metal-acid solution into the warm alcohol. Reaction should start in less than 5 minutes.Dense white fumes will be given off during the reaction. As time lapses, the fumes will become less dense.Allow 10 to 15 minutes to complete reaction. Fulminate will settle to the bottom.

CAUTION: This reaction generates large quantities of toxic, flammable fumes. Theprocess MUST be conductedoutdoors or in a well-ventilated area, away from sparks or open flames. DO NOT i

nhale fumes!

5. Filter the solution through a paper towel into a container. Crystals may

stick to the side of thecontainer. If so, tilt and squirt water down the sides of the container until all of the material collectson the filter paper.6. Wash the crystals with 6 teaspoons of ethyl alcohol.7. Allow these mercury fulminate crystals to air dry.

CAUTION: Handle dry explosive with great care. Do not scrape or handle it roughly! Keep away from sparks oropen flames. Store in a cool, dry place.===============================================================================================================

24- Improvised Black Powder

Black powder can be prepared in a simple, safe manner. It may be used as blasting or gun powder.

Materials:

Potassium Nitrate, granulated, 3 cups (3/4 liter)Wood charcoal, powdered, 2 cupsSulfur, powdered, ½ cupAlcohol, 5 pints (2-½ liters) (whiskey, rubbing alcohol, etc.)Water, 3 cups (3/4 liter)Heat source2 buckets - each 2 gallon (7-½ liters) capacity, at least one of which is heat resistant (metal, ceramic, etc.)Flat window screening, at least 1 foot (30 cm) squareLarge wooden stickCloth, at least 2 feet (60 cm) square

Procedure:

1. Place alcohol in one of the buckets.2. Place potassium nitrate, charcoal, and sulfur in the heat resistant bucket. Add 1 cup water and mixthoroughly with wooden stick until all ingredients are dissolved.3. Add remaining water (2 cups) to mixture. Place bucket on heat source andstir until small bubblesbegin to form.

CAUTION: DO NOT boil mixture. Be sure ALL mixture stays wet. If any is dry, as on sides of pan, it may ignite!

4. Remove bucket from heat and pour mixture into alcohol while stirring vigorously.5. Let alcohol mixture stand about 5 minutes. Strain mixture through clothto obtain black powder.Discard liquid. Wrap cloth around black powder and squeeze to remove all excessliquid.6. Place screening over dry bucket. Place workable amount of damp powder onscreen and granulate byrubbing solid through screen. NOTE: If granulated particles appear to stick together and change shape,recombine entire batch of powder and repeat steps 5 & 6.7. Spread granulated black powder on flat, dry surface so that layer about ½inch (1-¼ cm) is formed.Allow to dry. Use radiator, or direct sunlight. This should be dried as soon as

possible, preferably in anhour. The longer the drying period, the less effective the black powder.

Nitric Acid is used in the preparation of many explosives, incendiary mixtures,and acid delay timers. It maybe prepared by distilling a mixture of potassium nitrate and concentrated sulfuric acid.

CAUTION: Do not overheat or wet bottle containing mixture or it may shatter. As

receiving bottle is not clear (cloudy) pour it into cleaned bottle and repeat steps 2-6.

CAUTION: Nitric acid should be kept away from all combustibles and should be kept in a SEALED CERAMIC ORGLASS container. DO NOT inhale fumes!==================================================================================================================

25.1 Dust Bomb Instructions

An initiator which will initiate common material to produce dust explosions can

be rapidly and easilyconstructed. This type of charge is ideal for the destruction of enclosed areassuch as rooms or buildings.

Material Required:A flat can, 3 in. (8 cm) in diameter and 1-½ in. (3-3/4 cm) high. A 6-½ ounce tuna can serves the purposequite well.Blasting capExplosiveAluminum (may be wire, cut sheet, flattened can, or powder)Large nail, 4 in. (10 cm) longWooden rod - ¼ in. (6 mm) diameter

NOTE: Plastic explosive produce better explosions than cast explosives.

Procedure:1. Using the nail, press a hole through the side of the tuna can 3/8 inch to ½ inch (1 to 1-½ cm) fromthe bottom. Using a rotating and lever action, enlarge the hole until it will accommodate the blasting cap.2. Place the wooden rod in the hole and position the end of the rod at thecenter of the can.3. Press explosive into the can, being sure to surround the rod, until it is 3/4 inch (2 cm) from thetop of the can. Carefully remove the wooden rod.4. Place the aluminum metal on top of the explosive.5. Just before use, insert the blasting cap into the cavity made by the rod. The initiator is now readyto use.

NOTE: If it is desired to carry the initiator some distance, cardboard maybe pressed on top of the aluminum to insure against loss of material.

How to Use:This particular unit works quite well to initiate charges of five pounds of flour, ½ gallon (1-2/3 liters) of

gasoline, or two pounds of flake painters aluminum. The solid materials may merely be contained in sacks orcardboard cartons. The gasoline may be placed in plastic coated paper milk cart

26- Carbon-Tet Explosive

A moist explosive mixture can be made from fine aluminum powder combined with carbon tetrachloride ortetrachloroethylene. This explosive can be detonated with a blasting cap.

CAUTION: Fumes from the liquid are dangerous and should not be inhaled.

3. Store explosive in a jar or similar water proof container until ready touse. The liquid in themixture evaporates quickly when not confined.

NOTE: Mixture will detonate in this manner for a period of 72 hours.

How to Use:1. Pour this mixture into an iron or steel pipe which has an end cap threaded on one end. If a pipe isnot available, you may use a dry tin can or glass jar.2. Insert blasting cap just beneath the surface of the explosive mix.

NOTE: Confining the open end of the container will add to the effectiveness of the explosive.

lass container. Discard thesolid left in the paper towel.4. Pour the filtered solution into a glass or ceramic dish.5. Evaporate the alcohol and water from the solution by placing the dish into a pan of hot water. Whitepowder will remain in the dish after evaporation.

NOTE: The water in the pan should be at hot bath temperature, not boiling, approx 160°F to 180°F. It shouldnot burn the hands.

6. Pour 1/3 cup (80 milliliters) of concentrated sulfuric acid into a canning jar. Add the white powderto the sulfuric acid.7. Heat canning jar of sulfuric acid in a pan of simmering hot water bath for 15 minutes; then remove jarfrom the bath. Solution will turn to a yellow-orange color.8. Add 3 level teaspoons (15 grams) of potassium nitrate in three portionsto the yellow-orange solution;stir vigorously during additions. Solution will turn red, then back to a yellow-orange color.9. Allow the solution to cool to ambient room temperature while stirring occasionally.10. Slowly pour the solution, while stirring, into 1-¼ cup (300 milliliters) of cold water and allow to

cool.11. Filter the solution through a paper towel into a glass container. Lightyellow particles will collect

A spring type clothespin is used to make a circuit closing switch to actuate explosive charges, mines, boobytraps, and alarm systems.

Strip insulation from the end of one connecting wire. Wrap this end around the nail and drive thenail all the way in.3. Place the four wood blocks on the corners of the wood base.4. Place the 10 in. square flexible metal sheet so that it rests on the blocks in line with the woodbase.5. Drive four nails through the metal sheet and the blocks (1 per block) tofasten the sheet to thewood base. A second connecting wire is attached to one of the nails as in step#2.6. Wrap the adhesive tape around the edges of the plate and wood base. Thiswill assure that no dirtor other foreign matter will get between the plates and prevent the switch fromoperating.

How to use:The switch is placed in a hole in the path of expected traffic and covered with

a thin layer of dirt orother camouflaging material. The mine or other explosive device connected to theswitch can be buried with

Delay time will vary depending upon type of cigarette, wind, moisture, and otheratmospheric conditions (getto know your cigarette!) To obtain accurate delay time, a test run should be made under "use" conditions.

30- Nicotine

Nicotine is an abundant poison. Easily found in tobacco products, in concentrated form a few drops canquickly kill someone. Here is how to concentrate it:

First get a can of chewing tobacco or pipe tobacco. Remove the contents and soakin water overnight in a

jar (about 2/3 cup of water will do...). In the morning, strain into another jarthe mixture through a porous towel. Then wrap the towel around the ball of tobacco and squeeze it until all of the liquid is in the jar. Throw away the tobacco--you will not need it anymore.

Now you have two options. I recommend the first. It makes the nicotine morepotent.1. Allow to evaporate until a sticky syrup results in the jar. This is almost pure nicotine (hell, itis pure enough for sure!).2. Heat over low flame until water is evaporated and a thick sticky syrup results (I don't know how longit takes... shouldn't take too long, though.).

Now all you have to do, when you wish to use it, is to put a few drops in a medicine dropper or equivalent,and slip about 4 or 5 drops into the victim's coffee. Coffee is recommended since it will disguise the taste.Since nicotine is a drug, the victim should get quite a buzz before they turn their toes up to the daisies,so to speak.

Note: If the syrup is too sticky, dilute it with a few drops of water. And whileyou are at it, better add anextra drop to the coffee just to be sure!===============================================================================================================

Procedure:1. Determine the rate of the rise of the dried seeds selected. This is necessary to determine the delaytime of the timer.Place a sample of the dried seeds in the jar and cover with water.Measure the time it takes for the seeds to rise a given height. Most dried seeds

increase 50% in one to twohours.2. Cut a disc from thin metal plate. Disc should fit loosely inside the jar.

NOTE: If metal is painted, rusty, or otherwise coated, it must be scraped or sanded to obtain a clean metalsurface

3. Drill two holes in the cap of the jar about 2 inches apart. Diameter ofholes should be such thatscrews or bolts will thread tightly into them. If the jar has a metal cap or no

cap, a piece of wood orplastic (NOT METAL) can be used as a cover.4. Turn the two screws or bolts through the holes in the cap. Bolts shouldextend about one in. (2 ½ cm)into the jar.

IMPORTANT: Both bolts must extend the same distance below the container cover.

5. Pour dried seeds into the container. The level will depend upon the previously measured rise time andthe desired delay.6. Place the metal disc in the jar on top of the seeds.

CAUTION: If this is not done, the fire bottle may be dangerous to handle duringuse!

6. Wrap a clean cloth or several sheets of absorbent paper around the outside of the bottle. Tie withstring or fasten with rubber bands.

7. Dissolve ½ cup (100 grams) of potassium chlorate and ½ cup (100 grams) of sugar in one cup (250 cc)of boiling water.8. Allow the solution to cool, pour into the small bottle and cap tightly.The cooled solution shouldbe approx. 2/3 crystals and 1/3 liquid. If there is more than this, pour off excess before using.

CAUTION: Store this bottle separately from the other bottle!

How To Use:1. Shake the small bottle to mix contents and pour onto the cloth or paper

around the large bottle.Bottle can be used wet or after solution is dried. However, when dry, the sugar-Potassium chlorate mixtureis very sensitive to spark or flame and should be handled accordingly.2. Throw or launch the bottle. When the bottle breaks against a hard surface (target) the fuel will ignite.===============================================================================================================

34- Igniter from Book Matches

This is a hot igniter made from paper book matches for use with molotov cocktail

and other incendiaries.

Material Required:Paper book matchesAdhesive or friction tape

Procedure:1. Remove the staple(s) from match book and separate matches from cover.2. Fold and tape one row of matches (fold in thirds)3. Shape the cover into a tube with striking surface on the inside and tape. Make sure the folder coverwill fit tightly around the taped match heads. Leave cover open at opposite endfor insertion of the matches.4. Push the taped matches into the tube until the bottom ends are exposed about 3/4 in. (2 cm)5. Flatten and fold the open end of the tube so that it laps over about 1 in. (2-½ cm); tape in place.

Use with a Molotov Cocktail:1. Tape the "match end tab" of the igniter to the neck of the molotov cocktail.2. Grasp the "cover and tab" and pull sharply or quickly to ignite.

General Use:

The book match igniter can be used by itself to ignite flammable liquids, fuse cords, and similar itemsrequiring hot ignition.

35- Pipe Hand Grenade

Hand Grenades can be made from a piece of iron pipe. The filler can be of plastic or granular militaryexplosive, improvised explosive, or propellant from shotgun or small arms ammunition.

Material Required:Iron Pipe, threaded ends, 1-½" to 3" diameter, 3" to 8" long.Two (2) iron pipe caps

Explosive or propellantNonelectric blasting cap (Commercial or military)Fuse cordHand DrillPliers

Procedure:1. Place blasting cap on one end of fuse cord and crimp with pliers.

NOTE: To find out how long the fuse cord should be, check the time it takes a known length to burn. If 12inches burns in 30 seconds, a 6 inch cord will ignite the grenade in 15 seconds.

2. Screw pipe cap to one end of the pipe. Place fuse cord with blasting capinto the opposite end sothat the blasting cap is near the center of the pipe.

NOTE: If plastic explosive is to be used, fill pipe BEFORE inserting blasting cap. Push a round stick intothe center of the explosive to make a hole and then insert the blasting cap.

3. Pour explosive or propellant into pipe a little bit at a time. Tap the base of the pipe frequently tosettle filler.4. Drill a hole in the center of the unassembled pipe cap large enough forthe fuse cord to pass through.5. Wipe pipe threads to remove any filler material. Slide the drilled pipecap over the fuse and screwhand tight onto the pipe.===============================================================================================================

Another method of time delay for explosives that are detonated by electric means, is the drip timer. Fill a'baggy' with water and then add as much salt as the water will hold. Seal it, le

aving some air inside. Then, tape the twocontact wires from which the circuit has been broken, to the inside of a largecup. Place the baggy on the cup. Poke a

hole in the top of the 'baggy', where there is air, and then make a hole in thebottom to let the water drain into the cup.As any Einstein figures, the salt water level in the cup will eventually conduct electricity at the moment both wires touchwater, thus completing the circuit. I have yet to try this timer out, and I gotthe plans from a total idiot, phreakernonetheless, and doubt it would work with any power source under 12v.

Greek Fire:

1, Add 100gm's of Potassium Nitrate in Beaker.2, Add 100gm's of Charcoal in beaker.3, Add 50gm's of Sulfur in beaker.4, Add 50gm's of Sugar in beaker.5, Presto!

Black Powder:

1, Add 75gm's of Potassium Nitrate in Beaker.2, Add 15gm's of charcoal in Beaker.3, Add 10gm's of Sulfur in beaker.4, Presto!
