Safe SitterDescription: Safe Sitter, a nationally-recognized program,teaches 11 to 13 year old boys and girls to provide safechildcare. The program teaches child care basics, tips forinjury prevention and management, and behaviormanagement skills. Driver EducationDescription: The course is conducted by Kennedy School ofDriving through Bethel Park Recreation. Upon successfulcompletion of the 30 hours of theory and 6 hours of in-cartraining, a certificate is given that is accepted by mostinsurance companies for an insurance rate discount. Thisclass features the option of taking your driving test with ourinstructor. This counts as 1 hour of your behind-the-wheelinstruction. You must complete the test prior to your highschool graduation in order to take the test with our instructor. The $45 (non-resident $50) NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERRABLE fee payable to Bethel Park Recreationwill secure your space in the class. Day Camp 2018Description: The Recreation Summer Day Camp Program for childrenages 6-10 will provide interesting experiences to spice up your child'ssummer! Day Camp is divided into week-long sessions with activitiesdeveloped around a different central theme each week.

The all-day program is from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The morning programis from 9:00 AM to Noon, with an optional early drop-off of 7:00 AM.The afternoon program is from 12:30 to 3:30 PM, with an optional latepick-up time of no later than 6:00 PM. You have the choice of attendingmorning only, afternoon only, or all day.
