Beautiful Angel, with a heart so pure,
The love you have left behind will forever endure,
God has called you home because it was your time,
But let it be known you will always be on our mind,
You’re following the path God laid for you,
So sleep lovely Angel you’ve paid your dues,
When the feeling of your absence starts to leave pain,
We will do as you did and call on God’s name,
This is isn’t a goodbye, this is a see you later,
Your loved ones will remain on earth in God’s good favor,
Now rest Sweet Angel in eternal sleep,
Your suffering has ended,
You need no longer weep

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of
my life; of whom shall I be afraid? ~ Psalm 27:1
Catherine Eleazer Clark entered our lives on December 9, 1927 in Little
Mountain, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Bildon and Leeilya
Eleazer and was later reared by her father and second mother, Irene Cook-
Eleazer. Catherine departed into paradise on Saturday, July 1, 2017.
Catherine gave her life to Christ and was baptized, joining the St. John Baptist
Church and later the ATC Life Changing Ministry (formerly Apostolic Temple
Church). She had a heart so full of love and prayers that blessed so many time
and time again. Catherine always had time to encourage and uplift all that she
came in contact with. Catherine loved to read, and she blessed many with
Bibles. Her favorite gift was giving. She also blessed many with beautiful
embroidered scarves and pillowcases. Catherine retired from a lengthy
career as a Nurse’s Aide and Domestic Caretaker.
Catherine was predeceased by her parents, Bildon and Leeilya Eleazer and
Irene Cook-Eleazer; her husbands, Henry Murray Clark and Wallace Smith;
brothers; Bildon Thomas “BT” and James Eleazer; sister, Lucy Mae Bovain;
and son, Henry Murray “MC” Clark.
She leaves many precious memories in the hearts of her children, her most
prized possessions — sons: Johnny, Robert and Sylvester Clark (Claudia) and
Bildon Smith; and daughters: Dorothy (Clark) Cowan, Faith and Lucinda
Smith, Doreatha Clark and Ruby Hampton. She also leaves her brothers,
Arthur and Charlie (Mary Ann) Eleazer; sisters, Estelle Adams and Ruby
Mason, 23 grandchildren, a host of great- and great-great grandchildren,
nieces, nephews, many sons and daughters in-love, other loving relatives and
dear lifelong friends.
