Since 2015, France was plagued with reports ofdrone overflights of sensiKve sites. In the currentcontext of security risks, it becomes essenKal forany organizaKon or structure responsible for thesafetyofpersons,sitesorareasofoperaKonstobeable to detect, track down Unmanned AerialVehicles and to neutralize them if they aremalicious.The legalguidelinesadoptedbygovernments, suchas Francewith the lawproposal on "strengtheningthe security of civilian drones use" which shouldenterintoforceinJune2018,followthatdirecKon.Think tanks and governmental workshops onhomelandsecurityareacKve indifferentcountries,and a[er characterizing threats, they are nowseekingsoluKons.SAFEClusterhasamongitsmembersmanufacturersdevelopingdetecKonorneutralizaKonsoluKons.Thegoalofthisseminaristoremindtheneedsandto present soluKons coming inmajority from SAFEmembers. These are desKned to end-users, toconductawarenessacKons,demonstraKonsorevenafirstuseofsomesoluKons.The seminar will therefore focus on the technicalpresentaKons of needs and presentaKons,demonstraKonsandevencollecKveuseofproducts.
