Winding Wire for Submersible Motors
Lubi winding wires having an outstanding Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal & Chemical properties. These are quite sturdy, robust and miniaturized too. Is wire is not only fulfills the requirement of IS : 8783 standard but is even more better in many respects. This winding wire can withstand abrasion saves space/size, cost and work in every type of typical submerged conditions. In brief the details are as follows :
Lubi Industries LLP is primarily a manufacturer of submersible motors and pumps. Therefore we know what kind of winding wire produces a great motor. Top performance of submersible motors requires top quality winding wire. Likewise, good quality winding wire also increases the life-time of your motor. Extreme temperature resistance will allow your motor to run without the risk of burning out. The strong insulation will allow the winding to be placed firmly into your stator stamping without puncturing it. All these reasons show that the quality winding wire is critical to the quality of a motor.
TEAR RESISTANTUniaxial orientation makes it easy to tear the insulation along the axis of the wire. of insulation is oriented bi-axially. Propagation of tears is difficult.
The structure
DIELECTRIC STRENGTHThe multiple layer construction of Lubi insures high dielectric quality of insulation. Any flow is limited to a single layer of the tape. The wrapping process places the insulation concentrically around the conductor.
HIGHER CUT THROUGH & ABRASION RESISTANTInsulation offers remarkable resistance to cut through and scrap abrasion. Thin cross sections of Lubi 0.15 to 0.25 mm thick will endure greater cut through stress and general abuse than, 0.25 to 1.0 mm insulation such as of PVC, Nylon jacketed PVC wire.
INSULATION RESISTANCE It has remarkably higher insulation resistance even at boiling point of water than PVC.
HIGH TENSILE STRENGTHLubi insulation adds significantly to the tensile strength of the insulated conductor which has such a superior breaking strength. When stretching occurs, wire insulated with conventional materials will break since there is on support from insulation.
WORKING TEMPERATURE For short periods + 130°C.Continuous - 60°C to 120°C.
HIGHER FLEX LIFEThe insulation is produced by biaxially oriented synthetic film. It has very high flex life in comparison to any other insulation materials.
SIZE0.4mm to 3 mm conductor

At Lubi only the highest quality and purity of electrolytic copper conductor is used in our manufacturing processes. Likewise, the insulating material is also of the highest grade. Manufacturing is done by highly skilled and trained employees using automated technology. Lubi submersible winding wires pass through stringent tests to ensure the best quality for our customers. Our wire is passed through the following tests to guarantee the quality of the product:• Conductor diameter test.• Conductor resistance test• Insulation thickness test• Over all diameter test• Conductor roundness check• Conductor annealing test• Volume resistivity test• Tensile strength and elongation test• Insulation shrinkage test• Heat shock test• Water absorption test• High voltage test• Visual inspection and examination test• Megger test.
Correct application of submersible winding wire is critical to ensure perfect performance of submersible motors. Please ensure proper handling, storage and application of winding wires as per the following:
Do not place coils near objects with sharp edges. This may tear the insulation.
Do not place in areas of extreme temperatures. It is recommended to store the wire at room temperature.
Do not stack more than 5 coils. This may place excess weight on the lower-most coil and damage it.
Do not use tools such as crowbars or hammers to force winding wire into the motor slots. The coils should be easily bendable into the stator slot
It is recommended to proper wire-joint the winding coil with the flat cables to avoid motor failure.
