WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE’S LIFE1564-1616
William Shakespeare was born in April, 1564. Although the actual date is not known,
it is assumed to be the 23rd.Shakespeare’s parents were both illiterate
but William still did get a education At 18, Shakespeare married Ann Hathaway. They had three children together, Susanna,
Hamnet and Judith.
THE EARLY DAYS
In 1585 William Shakespeare became a successful actor. He was the part owner of the
play company, ‘Lord Chamberlain's Men‘. The company preformed in the globe theatre
where a large audience gathered to watch each play.
It is thought that Shakespeare continued to act until 1603 but as time went on, began to
focus on his writing.
SHAKESPEARE'S ACTING CAREER
Shakespeare became so popular that he was requested to write plays for the
queen.He wrote his first play for Queen
Elizabeth in 1594 and from then on started writing for her more. regularly.
Until in 1613, he retired.
SHAKESPEARE PREFORMS FOR THE QUEEN
Shakespeare did have education but it would be very hard to become accepted as a playwright, but by 1592 several of Shakespeare’s plays had
been preformed on the London stage. Shakespeare became a very well known
playwright , he wrote 37 plays and became very wealthy, owning the second biggest house in
Stratford. Shakespeare became so popular that he began
to perform for the Queen.

Shakespeare wrote 37 plays in his lifetime and some of them are some of the most famous plays
ever written. The plays were mainly performed at the globe, a
theatre in London EnglandThe main genres of the plays were tragedy,
history and comedy.Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Twelfth Night, and
Macbeth are a few of Shakespeare's most famous plays.
His plays are still being performed all around the world.

William Shakespeare's last written play is thought to have been the Tempest which was performed in
November 1611. He then retired from writing plays later that year but still continued to keep himself busy because
back then it was uncommon to retire from all work.
He died on the 23rd of April aged 52.
