• Wheelchair access at the Eiffel Tower is possible up to the 1st and 2nd landing via an elevator. • Wheelchair users should use the elevator in the north leg of the tower.• If you are at the river facing the Eiffel tower, it will be on your left.

• There may be a long line when you get there. • Go to the booth for visitors with reservations and a staff member will escort you to the elevator. • You will actually enter the small building with the elevator through the exit where people are leaving after they visit.

• After you take the elevator to the 2nd level, you can move step-free around the entire circumference of the tower. • We saw a rental wheelchair near the top of the elevator that is reserved for disabled and elderly visitors. • Wheelchair access at the Eiffel Tower is not possible to the top (3rd) landing.

• There are 18 steps before taking another elevator to the very top. • For safety and security reasons they don't allow wheelchair visitors to the top. • This is not a big deal because you still get a great view from the 2nd

level. • Visiting the Eiffel tower in a wheelchair is definitely worth it!

• Taxis can drop off by the west pillar at Quai Branly. • Cars can drop off by the east pillar at Quay Branly and Avenue Gustave Eiffel.

There are steps to the passageway around the 1st landing, and there are steps to the interior platform at the 2nd landing. Top landing requires ascending 18 steps to get to the final elevator.

When you arrive, look for the booth for visitors with reservations shown in the picture on the left. Staff will escort you to the front of the line. The picture on the right shows the exit where you will enter the small elevator building:

• The elevator to get back down. • We saw an asian wheelchair table tennis team while we were there. • The elevator was plenty big for all of our wheelchairs!
