EFFECTIVENESS:
AS WITH ANY TOOL – SOME ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS.
MEMORIZING A SCRIPT WOULDN’T MAKE FOR A MEANINGFUL PRODUCTION OR LEARNING EXPERIENCE.
LEARNING WITH THE ARTSARTS AS INSIGHT INTO HISTORY/CULTURE, AND AS SPRINGBOARD FOR OTHER SUBJECTS
(ART/MATH)
▪ No other subject at school achieves such an incredible level of self-realization and self worth. When a student looks down at the paint on their hands and the work of art they just made, they say to themselves, “I created this.” Even if it’s just a finger-painted, hand-printed turkey, there is no feeling like that of one who has just created.
▪ It is also looking at what you have done and improving it. Reworking it.
▪ I created this.
