Welcome to Park Church. Thank you for worshipping with us. This morning
we are celebrating the Lord's Supper. If you are not a member of Park Church but
acknowledge Jesus Christ as the one who forgives your sins and leads your life,
and have been baptized into a Christian Church, please receive communion with
us. If your children have been baptized into the Christian faith, they are also wel-
come to participate. You will be asked to come forward to receive communion. If
you are unable to come forward or prefer to remain seated, please sit in the last 3
rows of the two middle sections of the Worship Center, where communion will be
served to you.
Park Church is equipped with the Hearing Loop System. This system is compatible
with hearing aids that have a T Coil setting. If you do not have a compatible hearing
aid, please contact an usher for a receiver.
Join us following worship, in the Atrium, for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
Sunday Children’s Education Classes will not be held today, January 1
or 8. This includes Children’s Worship and Worship Centers.
Church Office Hours The church office will be closed Monday, December 26,
Friday, December 30, and Monday, January 2.
Staff will be in the office with normal hours on Tuesday and Thursday this week,
with shortened hours on Wednesday. If needs arise, please contact your care circle
elder or deacon.
HSM will not meet today or next Sunday, January 1. The youth leaders wish our
students and families a Merry Christmas! We hope your extra family time is a bless-
ing over Christmas Break. We're looking forward to resuming HSM on Sunday,
January 8, with a "GATHER" night in the Youth Room!
Volunteers are needed to assist with the Wednesdays @ Park Dinners. Please
sign up at the Information Circle if you are willing to volunteer.
Christmas Greetings
"We wish you all a blessed holiday season as you rejoice in the birth of Jesus and
his work in your lives, and celebrate His gift of a New Year. We are grateful for your
daily prayers, your words of encouragement, and your continued willingness to offer
your time and gifts to further His work together here at Park and in our community.
May you experience Christ through the celebrations of Christmas and God's pres-
ence throughout the New Year. May His Peace come to earth, to our homes, and
to our hearts."

Claire DeRoo suffered a broken leg following a skiing accident on
Tuesday and underwent surgery on Wednesday. Please pray for
healing and relief from pain for Claire.
Bea Koopman, mother of Kathy Slenk, passed away last week Fri-
day. The funeral service was held on Tuesday. Please remember
Tom and Kathy and their family in your prayers as they mourn their
loss.
Chuck Strabbing had a liver biopsy on Monday which came back
positive. He will begin chemotherapy on January 3. Please keep
Chuck and Ona in your prayers as they continue to fight this terrible
disease.
Please continue to keep Kryston, daughter of Terry and Khristie Dil-
livan, and her newborn son in your prayers. Give thanks that both
are doing well, considering the early delivery.
Give thanks that Kaye Vermeulen is feeling much better and experi-
encing less pain following a chemo treatment last week.
Pray for those who are traveling over the next few weeks to spend
time with family during the holidays. Pray for safety and good family
time.
This week the Park Church family will pray for the families of Joe and
Kaye Vermeulen, Donna Visser, Henry and Connie Walters, and
Justin and Leah Lechner, with YWAM.
Call our prayer line at 335-6177.
Park Church seeks to encourage worshippers to come into the
presence of the living God with wonder and awe, that we will
