Welcome to 100 years of Trans Tasman Aviation
I wish everyone a warm welcome to the Aviation Conference Week in Queenstown. This year’s Conference will have a distinct ANZAC Theme, befitting the 100 years of mateship and togetherness with our Trans-Tasman friends. The Leadership Summit on Wednesday afternoon starts with a flypast by the RNZAF and we will recognise the sacrifices our armed forces have made over the last 100 years during that day’s programme. This year’s conference is significantly different to anything we’ve done before:
• Our AAA Conference will be a joint Conference with the Agricultural Aviation Association of Australia
• The directors of CAA and CASA will share the podium • The Chief of the RNZAF and a spokesman for the Chief of the RAAF will talk on air
force relationships • We have a record number of Australian exhibitors at the trade show
We have a fantastic array of speakers throughout the whole week – from New Zealand, Australia and further afield. We look forward to seeing you in Queenstown. Samantha Sharif Chief Executive
