Guest Speaker: Amanda Willis

Ms Amanda Willis is Director, Corporate Values and Equity at

Curtin University. With qualifications in Human Resource

Management she has worked as a Human Resource

Management and Equity practitioner in the government and

higher education sectors. She is a past National Convenor of

the Equal Opportunity Practitioners In Higher Education

Association (Australia and New Zealand), and was a part-time

member of the Equal Opportunity Tribunal of Western Australia.

In 2002, Amanda was one of five national finalists nominated by

the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency for

the Diversity Leader for the Advancement of Women category

of the EOWA Business Achievement Awards.

Discussion with Judy Hartley Ms Judy Hartley, Manager Student Equity Services, Griffith University In her role as Manager, Student Equity Services, Judy Hartley jointly manages the work of Griffith University’s Student Equity Services team which delivers the University’s core equity programs involving outreach, preparation, transition and support activities. Judy has held leadership roles in the tertiary education sector at national and state levels as President of the Tertiary Education Disability Council of Australia and the Higher Education Disability Network of Queensland and is currently the Chair of the Educational Access Working Party for the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre.
