Item # I (spreadsheet of last year's schedule) has the session ratings in bold. The sessions were evaluatedon a scale of 1-5 (I being low and 5 being high). It also includes the number of evaluations that wereturned in as well as the number of people who attended the session. (# evals turned in/ # people attended)
Item #2 lists the ratings for each speaker. The list is in alphabetical order by last name.
Item #3 includes all keynote proposals. All of these speakers are asking for an honorarium.
Item #4 includes all concurrent proposals. I have tried to break them out by section. These are allprinted with page numbers so that we can keep them in order when reviewing them.
Please review the proposals and be prepared to make recommendations at the upcoming Education andConference Committee meeting at the CAHSAH office. If you are unable to attend the meeting onSeptember 10 from lOam - 3pm (lunch provided), please send me and Soua your comments. We willshare them with the rest of the committee.

Ourhealthcare industry is experiencing workforce shortages that promise to only get worse. Recent surveys report more thanhalf of our employees hate their jobs. The number one reason sited for both phenomenons is the stress associated withtoday's healthcare environment. Having spent twelve years as CFO and CEO of Hospitals, Kent Rader has experiencedthis stress first hand. This keynote program takes participants on a journey they won't want to end. It begins by showingparticipants the origins of stressful feelings and how humor is a proven tool in combating these feelings and improvingyour organization. Known as the "World's Cleanest Comedian and Speaker," Kent Rader helps people and associations learn and experiencehow laughter matters in reducing stress. Kent graduated from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri with a B.S. inAccounting. He spent five years in public accounting and twelve years as C.F.O. and C.E.O. of hospitals beforebecoming a professional speaker and comedian in 1997. Kent has authored the stress reduction book titled Let It Go, JustLet It Go released in April 2002 and has been heard on Sirius Satellite Radio and NPR's Talk of the Nation. Kent alsoperforms clean stand up comedy in comedy clubs from New York City to Seattle and is the winner of the 2007 BransonComedy Festival. Attached Resume

COMPENSATIONConcurrent Session: CAHSAH values the time and expertise of speakers. By submitting your proposal for a concurrentsession, you recognize that as a nonprofit organization, CAHSAH is unable to pay honoraria, travel, meal, lodging orper diem costs to concurrent session speakers. However, CAHSAH is pleased to offer all presenters a complimentaryregistration on the day(s) of their presentation and a 50% discount on registration fees for other days. Substitutionsfor complimentary or discounted registrations are not permitted.Keynote Session: To keep our conference fees affordable, if you charge for your keynote presentation, we ask thatrequests for compensation for keynote sessions be kept to a minimum.
