My Favourite Food
• In Spring, my favourite food is Cherries. Cherry is the fruit from an Asian plant. The fruit is small and round and it is red. I love it,
because it is tasty.
• In Summer, my favourite food is Watermelon. Watermelon comes from a creeping plant
with triangular leaves. The fruit is round and lengthened. I love it, because it is juicy.
• In Autumn, my favourite food is Chestnuts. Chestnut is the fruit from Chestnut Trees. We can find it on the ground around trees. I
love it, because it is delicious.
Healthy Food
• Vegetables, all kinds of fruit, and cereals are some examples
of healthy food.• A healthy diet means eating food from the five food groups
in different quantities. • People need food from all
groups every day (grains, vegetables, fruit, milk, meat and
beans and oils).• We should not forget the right
quantity of water.
Junk Food
• Lollypops, chips, ice-cream, soft drinks and fast food (Hamburger, Pizza and Hot Dogs) are
some examples of Junk Food.• This kind of food has too much fat, too much
salt and too much sugar in it.• Eating too much fat food will cause very fat
(obese) people and heart diseases.• Eating too much salt food will cause heart
diseases too.• Eating too much food with sugar makes
rotten teeth and it is bad for the blood.• If we eat it sometimes, it's Okay, but if we
eat it regularly it’s not so good.
Junk Food
• Junk food has some of the good things that our body needs to be
healthy. And the body needs some salt, fat and sugar to
have energy to burn while we work and play.
• It is probably OK to eat junk food sometimes! But people
should look for grilled fish and chicken rather than fried, fish burgers instead of beef and
vegetarian pizza.
Healthy or Junk Food?
• I prefer eating healthy food. As I said before, I like all types of fruit and some vegetables. • I also enjoy eating some vegetarian food.
• I prefer eating healthy food, because it gives me the nutrients my body needs to be protected
against the diseases.• I don’t like fast food. I hate the taste and the smell of the food from MacDonald’s. I never go
to this type of restaurants.• I sometimes eat vegetarian pizza.
