Concrete Poems

Poetry whose visual appearance matches the topic of the poem. The words form shapes that illustrate the poem’s subject as a picture, as well as through their literal meaning.

Take a pre-existing text from books, newspapers, etc. and turn them into poems. Creates a literary collage of sorts. You take words and phrases from a page and turn them into something new by selecting and then circling!
