That’s why even though Wayne State University’s tuition is the lowest among Michigan’s research universities, we support students with nearly $340 million annually in federal, state, institutional and private aid through scholarships, grants, loans and work-study programs. The first step to financial assistance is visiting fafsa.gov to complete the 2022-23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is available beginning Oct. 1, 2021. File using the WSU federal code 002329 as early as possible (and before our priority deadline of Dec. 1, 2021) for maximum aid consideration. Once you complete the FAFSA and are admitted to Wayne State, you will receive your award information, which may include scholarships, grants and federal loans.
