We are concerned with Environmental management to remove, recycle and
dispose dangerous waste locally, to build and operate waste recycling and
disposal plants and field, also, to provide consultancy services and engineering
works. We build production plants for Waste processing, Energy production
from waste and Raw material production.
We also specialize in Scrap Tire Recycling and Disposal.
Scrap Tyres
These scrap tires are moved into our waste tire recycling plant and shredded into chips as seen below.

Medical Waste
Capegate Waste Management Services Ltd.is also into Medical Waste
Collection, Treatment, and Disposal. Medical Waste is any solid waste that is
generated in the diagnosis, treatment, or immunization of human beings or
animals, in research pertaining thereto, or in the production or testing of
biologicals.
Medical Waste Burnt Medical Waste
Medical waste can be categorized as: infectious, hazardous, radioactive, and general.
Infectious waste describes waste that has the possibility of causing
infections to humans. It can include human or animal tissue (blood or
other body parts), blood soaked bandages, discarded surgical gloves,
cultures, stocks, or swabs to inoculate cultures. Much of this category,
including human or animal tissue, can also be labeled as pathological
waste, which can only be treated using specific methods. Pathological
waste is either proven to contain pathogens, or could be perceived as
containing pathogens.
Hazardous waste describes waste that has the possibility to affect
humans in non-infectious ways. This type of waste includes sharps,
which are generally defined as objects that can puncture or lacerate the
skin, but can include needles and syringes, discarded surgical instruments
such as scalpels and lancets, culture dishes and other glassware.
Hazardous waste can also include chemicals, both medical and industrial.
Some hazardous waste can also be considered infectious waste,
depending on its usage and exposure to human or animal tissue prior to
discard. Old drugs, including chemotherapy agents, are sometimes
hazardous.
Radioactive waste describes waste resulting from nuclear medicine
treatments, cancer therapies and medical equipment that uses radioactive
isotopes. Pathological waste that is contaminated with radioactive
material is treated as radioactive waste rather than infectious waste.
General waste makes up at least 85% of all waste generated at medical facilities,
and is no different from general household or office waste, and includes paper,
plastics, liquids and any other materials that do not fit into the previous three
categories.
We also provide services in the areas of supply of heavy duty sanitation
equipment, waste compacting trucks, sewage collecting trucks, sweepers, waste
bins, medical waste collection trucks, abattoir waste collection trucks and the
construction of modern abattoirs.

Construction of Waste Transfer Stations
Waste transfer station isa location for the temporary deposition of waste.
Transfer stations are important as they are constructed for the purpose of
temporarily depositing waste before being loaded unto larger vehicles. These
larger vehicles will transport the waste to the end point of disposal in
an engineered landfill. The transfer stations are necessary because some of the
dump trucks deposit the waste some distance from the main dump sites, littering
the area.

Engineered Landfill
The Engineered Landfill is an important part of the waste processes in
collection, disposal, processing and subsequent recycling to gain energy and
fertilizer. Waste are processed and disposed of in the Landfill where solid waste
will be segregated and the recyclable materials extracted. Bio-degradable
materials will be sent to the composting plant and the others used to produce
energy. The engineered Landfill has facilities for material recovery, treating
leachate, trapping harmful gases and producing energy.

Waste Oil& Condensate Recycling
Separating condensate from raw natural gas
Condensate is typically clean water. Recovered mainly from gas reservoirs, condensates are very similar to light stabilized crude oil and are used as feedstock for oil refining and other petrochemical industries.
Condensate goes through turbines, pumps, heat exchangers and other equipment. Oil or other contaminants may leak unrecognized into the condensate. These contaminants involve coating, foaming, corrosion and other problems if they reach the boiler. Even if there are no oil leaks, the condensate can become contaminated with iron resulting from an improperly treated piping system or corrosion. This iron will cause high erosion at the turbine blades. Sometimes condensate is cleaned by passing it through polishing filters to remove filterable contaminants, but this is expensive and the measurement system is required for filtration control.
We specialize in the recycle of waste oil and condensate from refineries.
Waste Water Treatment
According to the Corporate Document Repository by the FAO, the principal objective of wastewater treatment is generally to allow human and industrial effluents to be disposed of without danger to human health or unacceptable damage to the natural environment. Irrigation with wastewater is both disposal and utilization and indeed is an effective form of wastewater disposal (as in slow-rate land treatment). However, some degree of treatment must normally be provided to raw municipal wastewater before it can be used for agricultural or landscape irrigation or for aquaculture.
Capegate Waste Management is concerned with the Conventional wastewater treatment which consists of a combination of physical, chemical, and biological processes and operations to remove solids, organic matter and, sometimes, nutrients from wastewater. General terms used to describe different degrees of treatment, in order of increasing treatment level, are preliminary, primary, secondary, and tertiary and/or advanced waste water treatment.

Scrap Metals
Nigeria loses about 25 billion naira in illegal export of metals yearly, therefore, we provide services in the collection, recycling and subsequent export of scrap metals. The scrap metals could be from waste tyres, cars, electrical and building materials and other general product consumption. Some of the scrap metals are: steel, iron, lead, zinc, aluminium, copper.
There are great risks to mishandling of scrap metals which include death, injury and environmental damage.
Scrap Metals
Great potential abound in the recycling of scrap metals in terms of benefits to the environment:
Reduction in air and water pollution Saves Energy Reduction in mining waste
Apart from saving energy and environmental risks, there are a lot of requests for export of scrap metals which will greatly boost the economy.
Modern Abattoir
A Modern Abattoir
The production Process of the Modern Abattoir starts with the Cattle and small Ruminants being received in the slaughter plants to be inspected for good health and then slaughtered after which a hoist will raise them for bleeding. The animals will be skinned using a mechanical hide puller or portable skinning cradles where hides will be removed. The animals will then be hoisted again to remove the intestines from stomach cavity and after examination, the intestines will be removed and the carcasses sawed in two by splitting Saw.
The carcasses will then be trimmed and washed with hot water to remove faecal material and will then be rolled into chill coolers to be cooled to proper temperature before storage in holding coolers. The carcasses will hang in holding coolers until they are ready to be fabricated into primal and sub-primal beef cuts and then bagged vacuum packaged, and boxed in pre-printed shrink wraps showing different parts of the meats. Other part of the meats will be cut into the traditional and added value products and also further cuts and ground into sausage, and etc.
The product facility will be designed, constructed and operated based on American Meat Institute’s (AIM) recommended best practices and guidelines. The use of American Meat Institute’s best practices and current science and technology, which may be applicable in Nigeria, will allow the meat processing company to produce visibly clean carcass and reduce the incidence levels of pathogenic contamination, and more importantly, to meet international meat export requirements.
