Smithsonian Institution Operations Training and DevelopmentWashington, DC
FEA provided consulting services to develop a replicable, instructor-led training program for CMMS users to help facilitate business-function specific education of key concepts, required skills, and standard values. FEA designed the program curricula including nine three-hour modules, as well as the functional tools associated with the execution of the training which included, instructor guides, presentation materials, student manuals, learning activities and assessment materials. The program included providing training to over 500 maintenance staff from the Smithsonian Institution's facilities management branch, Office of Facilities Management and Reliability (OFMR).
The custom and comprehensive training program for OFMR staff was developed for the implementation of documented processes and the use of Tririga. The training program enhanced worker knowledge and confidence which enabled the generation of accurate and consistent data reports to support decisions, justify resources, and confidently measure performance.
