»Les Rêves Byzantins« ist Ausdruck der Wiederentdeckung einer exotischen orientalischen Atmosphäre, in der die klassischen barocken Motive des Ateliers Versace mit den Symbolen nahöstlicher Kunst, wie dem Halbmond, verschmel-zen. Das von Donatella Versace entworfene Dekor entführt uns nach Istanbul, dem antiken Byzanz, als Tor zwischen Orient und Okzident, und lässt uns gleich-zeitig von der sagenumwobenen Welt aus Tausendundeine Nacht träumen. Das kräftige Rosa betont den femininen Charakter und die positive Aus-strahlung des Services, die durch die reiche Fülle an Geflechten, Halbmonden und goldenen Grafiken noch stärker zur Geltung kommt.
