In order that our clients may have a high degree of confidence in the cremation process, we have developed this “Worry Free Cremation™ Process” that your family may take an active part in.
Worry Free Cremation
Five Steps Prior To Cremation:1. Our “wrist identification band” is placed on your loved
one at the time we come to your home, hospital or other care facility.
2. The cremation container is labeled with your loved one’s name when they are placed into our secure refrigeration facility.
3. Your loved one is registered into our facility logbook with name, date, time and driver’s name.
4. Our General manager or crematory manager reviews all cremation permits to insure they have been properly filed and received prior to scheduling the cremation.
5. If you wish, the family may witness the cremation. Our state-of-the-art cremation facility is set up to allow family members to be present when the body is placed into the cremation chamber. In fact, some religious groups include this as part of their funeral custom. At this point, the body is not embalmed; therefore the body may not be viewed in the cremation facility. If you choose to have a final goodbye, we would be honored to make arrangements for a final goodbye as a part of our initial arrangements with the family. See the many options for viewing within this guide.
Five Steps During and After Cremation:1. Your loved one is removed from our refrigeration
facility and noted in our facility logbook. Log shows date and time of cremation and crematory operator’s name.
2. Our crematory checklist is dated; start time noted and signed by the operator immediately before and after the cremation takes place.
3. The crematory checklist and numbered identification tag are placed on the control panel of the cremation chamber during the cremation process.
4. After the cremation is completed the cremated remains are removed from the chamber and taken to the processing station and allowed to cool. The crematory checklist and numbered identification tag are placed on the processing station until the processing of the cremated remains is complete.
5. The number on the numbered identification tag and the cremation checklist are reviewed and matched. A cremation certificate and label are created prior to the placement of the cremated remains in the urn selected by the family or the temporary container.
A Modest Choice. For the loved one whose firm convictions encompassed dignity, respect and simplicity, the Simple Cremation offers the closure that best reflects that tradition. With this selection, the cremains can be buried in a cemetery, kept at home for safe keeping, or dispersed in a scattering ceremony. This choice is simple, with the final wishes of the loved one being carried out by our professional staff of cremation arrangers.

Final Goodbye at our facility for immediate family*
*In our Simple Cremation and Memorial Service options there is no embalming and only a very limited time that the deceased may be transferred out of refrigeration and identified (refrigeration or embalming are required by state law 48 hours after death). So that the deceased remains in an essentially refrigerated state, we respectfully request that the identification be for no more than 30 minutes from the time we agree to begin. In the interest of full disclosure while minimizing movement of the deceased, the identification occurs in the container that will shelter the deceased prior to cremation and will be later consumed in the cremation process. The fee for this scheduled Goodbye is included in the Simple Cremation with Final Goodbye and should take place during normal weekday business hours. In the case of Autopsied remains, embalming is necessary (additional fee).
