• Developing guidelines and exemplars for the implementation of standards, specifications and good practice
• Synthesis and dissemination of outputs • Consultation and validation of work via wider

international partners• Advice on future directions, e.g. further
programmes, internal/external partnerships
Defining repository functional components and developing and synthesising frameworks
• Collating use cases and documenting work flows from projects using a common style and format
• Working towards a usage model for repository related processes
• Developing a clear definition of a repository ecology
