Principal’s Report

Fathers’ Day Stall

Friday saw our students eagerly receiving their

Fathers’ Day gifts ready to surprise dad on Sunday.

I hope all our fathers had a lovely day on Sunday.

A huge thank you to Tanja Perl and her band of

helpers who made this possible.

Summer Uniform

Students may start to wear their summer uniforms

from this week if the weather is warm. All students

must be in summer uniform by Monday 10th

October.

Interviews

We are holding Parent/Teacher interviews next week

for those parents who wish to make an appointment.

Our online booking system will open tomorrow so if

you would like to make a booking please follow the

instructions on the attached sheet.

Play It Loud

This Friday our musical groups will be performing in the

hall from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. This is an opportunity for

our students to show their family and friends the

results of their many hours of practise. Our bands,

guitar and percussion groups will be performing. Our

thanks to the band committee who have organised this

evening event.

Playground Equipment

Due to the rain that we have had over the last two

weeks our playground installation is running a little

behind schedule. They are now expecting to be

finished by this Wednesday.

I hope that everyone enjoyed the spring weather

over the weekend! The new playground

equipment should be ready in the next week

(it has been somewhat delayed by all the rain)

and I know the children will be very excited to start

using it.

Just a reminder that the P&C meeting will be this

Wednesday night 7th Sept at 7pm in the staff room,

please come and join us to learn more about your

Canteen News

Fruit and vegie month is proving popular in the

canteen. The students have been enjoying the

freshly made fruit cups and fruit salad options at

both recess and lunch. During this month, we will be

handing out stickers when students order fresh

healthy options.

The end of the term is fast approaching and we are

having our traditional roll into the holidays sausage

sizzle on Thursday 22 September. For $5, you will

receive a beef sausage served in a roll and an apple

juice. Please order your using Flexischools or you can

also deliver your order form to the office or the

canteen. There will be no other hot food served on

the day but you can still order sushi and sandwiches.
