GB • Feathering – Create this by holding one arm of thetool along the hair sectioned to be cut & move the tool gentlyalong the mid-lengths to ends to remove bulk around theface and neckline, creating a soft feathered finish.

GB • Layering – Section hair depending whether it be auniform or increase layer, place the section to be cut betweenyour thumb and index fingers and with the base of the toolcut hair to desired length by sliding tool along hair. This resultis a softer ‘no cut line’ finish.

GB • Root Texturising – Take your section of hair to be cut,place the tool 2 inchs from the roots using both arms of thetool on a 45’angle move upwards and side to side towardsthe midlengths. This creates volumizing lift at the root byvaried lengths holding up the longer hair lengths.

GB • Blunt Cut – Hold the section of hair to be cut betweenyour thumb and index finger. Use one side of the tool to cutoff desired length. This method can be used all over thehead, the result is bulkier hair with textured ends.

GB • Slicing – The tool slides down the selected section ofhair using the end blade of the tool creating varied lengthson the top layer of the section.GB • Chipping (personalizing) – Hold the section of hair tobe cut between your thumb and index finger then cut withthe tips of the tool at random lengths through out the hairsections. This method keeps the length with chunked outends.

GB • Graduation – By holding the section of hair start froma 45' angle moving to a 90' angle place the tool on theunderneath section of the hair and slide the tool towardsyou and up. This creates varied lengths from the under sideof the section leaving the upper hair length longer.

GB • Under cutting – Slide the blade along the underneathsection of the hair in an upwards motion leaving the externallength. The internal varied lengths push up the top layerscreating supportive volume.
