There are countless gods and goddesses in ancient Egypt. Some of them are, Osiris, Thoth, Isis, Anubis, Seth, Atum, Path, Re, and Hathor
ReRe is one of the ancient Egypt gods thought
to be the god of the sun. Ancient Egyptians think Re is the creator of life on Earth.
One of his forms is of him wearing the head of a hawk with a sun disk head dress.
HathorHathor is goddess of the sky.One of her forms is a woman with the ears of
the cow.
AtumSome ancient Egyptians also believe that
Atum was the the first god to exist, and that he was the creator.
His form is a man with a double crown.
SethSeth is the god of chaos. He is the brother of
Osiris and Isis.His form is a man with the head of an
unidentifiable animal, known as the Seth animal.
ThothThoth was the god of the moon and the god
of wisdom.One of his forms is a man with the head of an
Ibis holding a writing palate.
OsirisOsiris is the god of the underworld. He is the
brother/husband of Isis.One of his forms is a mummified man
wearing a white cone-like headdress.
These are only some of many gods and goddesses that the ancient Egyptians believed in.
The ancient gods and goddesses from Egypt are important in the world today because some Egyptians might still believe in in them and depend on them for understanding the world today.
