PASTOR’S NOTE
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love is eternal.”
Psalm 136:1
Giving thanks to the Lord acknowl-edges that we need Him, and that we are grateful to Him for all that we have. During this season of Thanks-giving, remember what God has done for you, and that His love is never-ending. Give thanks to Him for His love and care for you.
Operation Christmas Child is a practical mission project in our church family. It is Christmas in a shoebox for poor children around the world. Commit to pack at least one shoebox this year. If you have specific questions about this mission project, please ask Caroline Newbern or Kay Bagby. There is a display table in the lobby.
Our Veteran’s Day Service is Sun-day, November 10. We will honor all who have served our country in uniform. We will recognize our vet-erans, and we will have a special video presentation. Invite a veteran to come with you on this special Sunday.
