Too Much Text
• Sometimes people use a whole lot of text on their slides. • They like to use long complete sentences. • This is a really bad idea because the audience feels a need
to read the entire slide instead of listen to the presenter. • Also, the presenter often ends up reading the slide as well. • It’s so dull when there aren’t any pictures or graphics. • As you write more and more on your slide, the font gets
smaller and smaller and smaller. So small, that the audience can’t read it anymore!
• How boring this is. Yawn. • Wow, that’s a lot of text.
