Why implement a Skills Passport?
• To encourage:– Nationally consistent practices– A drive to common training standards not covered by
Training Packages– Individual ownership of refresher training currency
• To develop a system that:– Supports COAG objectives– Assists mutual aid requests– Provides portable evidence of the currency of refresher
training and network authorisations– Supports in-field auditing of work parties

• The Passport is only as effective as recognition of the content• This fact led industry to develop the new Skills Set of

ESQ Functions:•Continue ongoing smart technology projects, (primarily with QLD & NT network operators)•Interface with database administrator
Imagatech Functions:•Database administrator•Prepare reports as requested•Helpdesk service•Upload and export bulk data for Passport issue
Network Operator Functions:•Issue Passports to employees and contractors•Appoint Validation Officers•Audit Passports during field inspections
