The number of perm its granted for new buildings during tho week ending yosterday wore Beventy-threo, at a valuation of $459,515, which Is a falling off from tho wook previous of nlnetoen buildings, while tbo money value of tho structures about to be erected Increased $14,160. This Increase in value can be accounted for by tho big flat about to be erected on Montague street, near Montague terrace, at a cost of $125,000; the $40,000 factory to be built by the Vosburg Manufacturing Company, In place of the ono lately dostroyod by flro, and tho $10,000 Congregational church, on Bushwlck ave­nue. During the co rrf isp o n d lD g wook of 1866 permits were Issued for sixty-four now buildings, at on estimated value of $383,780, which tolls In favor of this year of nine now buildings and $75,735. Applications were mado for thlrt3'-throo alteration permits, chief among which Is tho $.30,000 wings tho Board of Education intend adding to Public School No. 10. Frame structures take tho lead this week as permits were signed for forty-three of them, at a cost of $128,995. The brick buildings about to go up number thirty, at a valuation of $330,520.
