GRADING RUBRIC

• The teapot must be high fire.• It must have a all the components of a teapot(spout, lid,

handle, ability to hold liquid).• The clay teapot should be derived from a preliminary

sketch that is in your sketchbook.• The glaze selection should show evidence of

experimentation(trying something new).• Using all clay experiences from the semester, the form

should reflect your style as an artist in the teapot design.• The building process was completed by the wet clay

deadline.• The teapot was completed on time.
