Reflection:
Harmful rumors are one of the main cause for the drop in tourism rate. Everyone avoided Daigo Town, Ibaraki’s products and this caused them to suffer a great loss!

Learning points:
• Tourism site, Fukuroda waterfall is ranked as one of beautiful waterfall in Japan!
• Was affected greatly by harmful rumors
• Dropped in number of visitors
Reflections: We learnt about how a small rumor could affect the different tourist attractions and affect the tourism rate.
In addition, we also tried to make our own wooden planters to be donated to the disaster affected areas.
It definitely felt good when I was able to contribute to helping the people living in Ibaraki.

• Tasted their strawberries, so it is definitely safe for consumption. • Nishinouchi paper is a traditional Japanese paper which is handmade with paper mulberry

Lecture on ‘‘TOSHIMAYA TSUKIHAMA NO YU ’’ HOTEL • The hotel sustained from the Great East Japan earthquake • Hardwork with the help of volunteers reopen the hotel • Tsunami destroyed the whole of 1st floor

LEARNING OBJECTIVES • Otsu Port is the major base port of round-haul net fishing boats in Ibaraki
• Tsunami submerged everything up to 200 metres away • Stop shipment and fishermen refrained from fishing voluntarily
