TAYLOE PIGGOTT JEWELRY
The earth offers us inspirational moments – the roar of a
lion on safari, the wake of a hammerhead shark swimming
past – as well as the unique and wonderful gemstones
that it has been caring in its belly for millions of years. My
passion is to bring these gifts of the earth to life, doing
justice to them and offering them to my collectors to
enjoy for generations. I design using my love of color and
the awe I feel when finding certain gems, creating tex-
tures and shapes that bring the whole vision into a unique
piece of art. — Victor Velyan

I am deeply inspired by my everyday surroundings and
everyday interactions that shape, morph and mold my
mind, influencing my heart. I love the simple beauty you
see when you look a little closer at things. Take the raw
diamond — each one has a unique character that cannot
be recreated. I use raw diamonds in my designs because
they give me the freedom to be completely unique, they
challenge social perception and they open up the realm of
possibility in design. — Todd Reed

A fine piece of jewelry contains more art, happiness, hope,
memories, love and humanity than any other tangible
object on earth. However, most importantly great jewelry
references the past, present and future. One should be
able to see the roots and influences of the pieces that
came before. That includes styles or successes that
contributed to the piece one has chosen. I don’t wear
jewelry but I worry about the future of jewelry. Ruby is my
birthstone, I’ve always dreamed in technicolor and I keep
an excellent organic garden. — Nicholas Varney

The finest pieces of jewelry, like women, need time to reveal themselves... they forbid a woman to be defined by the sum of her parts.

I believe that integrity is vital to true beauty. Inspired by
my travels around the globe to discover unique materi-
als and artisanal craftsmanship, I combine my signature
materials of fossilized walrus ivory, woolly mammoth and
dinosaur bone to produce one-of-a-kind pieces of jew-
elry that can be passed down for generations. Through
these pieces, I hope to inspire environmental and cultural
awareness while celebrating slow design, sustainability
and the power to make a difference by providing clean
water to developing communities. — Monique Péan

Fate brings a woman and my jewelry together.
As an artist, I am constantly exploring the world around
me, drawing influences from cultures, architecture, history,
and art. But I am just as easily inspired by other pursuits,
being a renaissance thinker, rock music aficionado, political
junkie, mathematician, and lover of cooking. However when
it comes to designing jewelry, my inspiration starts with the
woman whom I imagine will wear the piece; “First I dream
the woman, then I dream the jewelry.” — Gurhan
