SUBSCRIPTION OF SAINIK SAMACHAR MAGAZINE: REVISION OF RATES

Dear Subscriber,

t is intimated that in w of COVID-19 pandemic, printing of Sainik Samachar

magazine is discontinued and only e-version of the magazine is being brought out. The e-version of the magazine can be provided to the subscribers if their e-mail alongwith their subscription number is provided to this office. The e-version copy can be requested by sending an e-mail at edit-ss@nic.in

2 It is further intimated that the subscription rate of magazine has been evised by the approval of Competent Authority. The revised rates are as under:

(Military Rs. 300- per annum (24 Issues)

(a) Annual Subscription Rate: Serving Personnel) and Military/Civil Institution, etc.

Rs 100/- per annum (b) Annual Ex-servicemen (Military Personnel),

Serving Military Personnel

Concessional Subscription Rate: Wards of | (24 Issues)

All the subscribers are requested to furnish the new subscription form attached (Form

No. 5507/Sub Form-2020/PR(SS). 3.

The subscription period amount of all the subscribers would be adjusted against future issue of Sainik Samachar magazine. The subscribers whose period exceeds beyond one year would be restricted to one year and excess amount would be adjusted on

subsequent renewal of their subcription form on the rates approved on the renewal date.

5. The required details must be forwarded by 31 Dec 2020 failing your _ubscription shall

be discontinued.

PROCEDURE FOR SUBSCRIPTION

Duly filed in Subscription Form '5507/Sub Form-2020/PR(SS) and duly authenticated by Controlling Officer/ CO/ OC should be forwarded to the office of Sainik Samachar alongwith the following supporting documents:-

1.

(a) Demand Draft (DD) /Indian Postal Order (IPO) / e-Money order Money Order (MO)/ Institutional cheques made in favour of Editor-in- Chief, Sainik Samachar, payable at New Delhi. No individual's cheque will be accepted. All DD's and IPO's must be of self life of at least 02 (Two) months at the time of receipt to this office.

(b)Duly self attested copy of Discharge Certificate / ldentity Card issued by D.S.S &A Board / PPO issued by PCDA, Allahabad in case of Ex-servicemen.

2 On receipt of subscription form alongwith the supporting documents mentioned above, the same would be verified and subscription would be accepted only upon completion of due verification.

3 Individual/ Institutions/ Organisation who fails verification will be timated about rejection of their subscription and would be asked to furnish

the details/ additional documents within 30 days of receipt of their subscription form. If details are not furnished within 30 days of receipt of subscription form, the subscription is liable for rejection. However, the final decision would be taken by Editor-in-Chief.
