The STUDY BRIDGE Program is organized by the Goethe-Institut, the Pädagogischer Austauschdienst (PAD), and the German Academic Partnership Program (GAPP).
The Goethe-Institut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany that promotes cultural cooperation and German language learning worldwide.
GAPP is the largest bilateral student exchange program between the US and Germany.
The Pädagogischer Austauschdienst (PAD) is the sole public organisation in Germany working on behalf of the Federal States to promote international exchange and cooperation in the school sector.
The Schools: Partners for the Future (PASCH) initiative creates a global network of more than 1,800 PASCH schools with particular ties to Germany.

GET STARTED.
During your junior year of high school, apply for study bridge if you can prove a level A1 command of German. After your junior year of high school, you will participate in a summer language course.
SENIOR YEAR
IMPROVEYOUR GERMAN.
During your senior year of high school, keep improving your German with an online-course for study bridge participants offered by the Goethe-Institut.
Pass internationally recognized German language exams.
AFTER HIGH SCHOOL
GET TO KNOWGERMANY.
Spend a preparatory year at a German high school to improve your language skills, get to know Germany and its education system, organized through GAPP.
Participate in a STEM-related summer program at a host university in Germany.
Prepare for and take mandatory German university admission exams (TestDaF and TestAS).
