S1 Option Parents to submit online via Secondary 1 Internet System (S1-IS)
– Access from 21 Nov 2014 (11am) to 27 Nov 2013 (3pm)
OR
Parents to submit child’s secondary school options through school
from 21 Nov 2014 11am to 3.00pm and will continue from 9.00am to 3.00pm on 24, 25, 26 and 27 November 2014, excluding Saturday and Sunday.

– Apply to School Directly from 21 November 2014 (11a.m.) to 25 November 2014 (12p.m.) AND
– ALSO apply under S1 Posting Exercise
• Successful applicants will receive results via SMS and letter on 13 December 2014 and will not be posted to another school under S1 option.
Appeals for Posting
• Report to the posted secondary school on 22 Dec 2014 after the release of the posting results.
• Apply for school transfer by submitting an application form to the school by 12.00pm on that day. All applications must be accompanied with the relevant supporting documents.
Appeals for Posting
• The results of the appeals will only be made known to applicants in early January.
• Applicants should continue to attend lessons at their posted secondary school while waiting for the results of the appeal. Applicants may check the outcome of their appeals with the secondary school that they were posted to.
Factors to Consider when Selecting Secondary Schools
• Distance from home
• Learning environment that suits your child – school ethos, programmes, niches, CCAs and Schemes available in school
• Previous year’s posting aggregate range as a guide (Cut-off point for admission to secondary schools may fluctuate
slightly from year-to-year due to changes in the actual demand and supply of school places)
Other Information
• Candidates to check their personal particulars printed in the certificates through their respective schools together with the original certificates.
• All requests to be done within 2 months from date of issue of certificates.
• An Admin fee of $50/- chargeable per reprint of certificates.
