REFLECTION:As we are in this joyful season of preparation andwaiting, John the Baptist is the powerful yet gentlevoiceinthewildernessmentionedbyProphetIsaiah(Is40:30).InthefullnessofGod’stime,GodsentHisonly Begotten Son to save theworld so thatHe canalsogiveuslifeeternal.CalledtobetheprecursorofthePromisedMessiah,hehas toprepare thewayoftheLord. Becauseof this, there isalwaysasenseofurgencytothiscallasagiftbearinginmindthatlikewheat is separated from chaff so will the faithfulpeoplebe separated from theunfaithful. Weshouldnot think that salvation is guaranteed by ourBaptism. Rather, there should be an evidence ofsincere repentancemanifested in good fruit andnotinemptywords.CHALLENGE:Preparationsarerequiredtohavegoodfruits.How’syour own preparation for a fruitful and joyfulChristmas?UPDATE:Wearenowinthisbusy liturgicalseason. REFLEXIÓN:. Ası como nos alegramos en esta temporada de

preparacion y espera, Juan el Bautista es la voz potente

y a la vez gentil en el desierto que es mencionado por el

profeta Isaıas. (Is 40:30) En la plenitud de los tiempos

de Dios, Dios envio a su Hijo unigenito para salvar al

mundo para que el tambien nos pueda dar vida eterna.

Llamado a ser el precursor del Mesıas prometido, el

tiene que preparar el camino del Senor. Debido a esto,

siempre hay un sentido de urgencia a esta llamada,

como un regalo, siempre teniendo en cuenta que ası

como el trigo es separado de la paja, ası mismo los

Dieles se separaran de los inDieles. No debemos de

pensar que la salvacion esta garantizada tan solo por

nuestro bautismo. Mas bien, debe ser una evidencia de

arrepentimiento sincero manifestada en los buenos

frutos y no las palabras vacıas...

RETO:Toda preparacion esta obligada a tener y dar

buenos frutos. ¿Como esta su preparacion para una

Navidad alegre y fructıfera?
