The goal id to raise funds
for the construction of
homes for dálits
(untouchables) and
disable people in the
Anantapur district, INDIA.
The Vicente Ferrer Foundation has been working for more than 40
years in one of the poorest areas of the planet, the Anantapur district in
India. During this time, it has helped three million dálits (untouchables)
and excluded tribal people to move out from extreme poverty.
The situation of social exclusion suffered by the poorest indian
communities in Andhra Pradesh often force them to live in unsafe and
unhealthy huts. This situation becomes even worse for the thousands
of disabled people in these dwellings.
The Vicente Ferrer Foundation designed and executes a program of
construction of adapted housing, with the goal of giving access to a
proper home to these “poorest of the poor”.
With every stroke and every yard, Christian will be helping excluded
people, specially women and children that do not have a home, and
dwells in unsafe and unhealthy huts, exposed to a harsh climate.
If you wish to participate with NZ$ 1 per yard, you can do so on the
account IBAN ES81 2100 4989 57 2100094375; SWIFT CAIXESBB661
