SilviaMongeisarenownedCostaRicanartistwhohasbeenselectedandinvitedtoparticipateininternationalwatercolorfestivalsandbiennialsonfourcontinents,obtainingimportantawardsandrecognitions.ShehasbeenpartofthejuryininternationalcompetitionsandalsohastaughtworkshopsintheUnitedStates,Mexico,PortugalandCostaRica.She’saverypowerfulexpressionistartist,usingabigvarietyofmediatoexpressherself.Herloveforwatercolourandhercreativityhavebecomeherstrongestpassionstoexpressherfeelings.She’sreachedapointofabstractionandahighfreedomincorporatingmixedmediatoenhanceherexpressionwithoutanycomplex.Thisworkshopisaimedatthosepeoplewhowishtobringwatercolouralittlebeyondthelimitofthepaper.Expressingfeelings,experimenting,takingrisksandlettingyourselfgoisthemainobjectiveofthiscourse.
