SLOW CONTROL SYSTEM FOR NP02DUNE SLOW CONTROL WG MEETING 5- AUGUST-2021
General overview
Testing operations in NP02 foreseen for August 2021 have been extended until the end of Q1/2022
Some of the NP04 elements have been inserted in NP02 (i.e., 3 SSPs and Wiener PS)
No new elements expected (experiment has been closed yesterday)
In comparison with the last NP02 actions, the new operations will count on the new WinCC OA 3.16 version

Introduction of 3 SSPs SSP101, 304 and 603 from NP04 migrated to NP02
Wiener PS implemented (2 boards, 8 channels each) and handled via OPC UA
3 channels per board switched to control the SSPs
Each SSP controlled via a Power channel and a Bias channel
Interlocks in placed interfaced with PMTs, LEDs and PD
Information handled via DIM
DIM will remain as information source during the full NP02 testing

1: If PMTs (and now also SSPs) are ON —> Interlock to LEDs and PDs (treated as an additional “light”): Procedure handled via specific system manager
When PMTs OFF —> interlock automatically off and LEDs (PD) channels automatically cleaned
2: If LEDs ON: HW interlock to the PMTs CAEN supply
Procedure not applicable to SSPs because of the Wiener PS —> different approach in place
Status of the CAEN for the PMT and the Wiener for the SSPs are also implemented in the interlocks

Run control structure created last summer automatising the full operational regime of both LEMs and Grids
Exportable if needed to any other system

When the table is confirmed it automatically triggers and entry to the e-log for information including the full setup
