Cover analysis & ExamplesTo make the image of sarz more aesthetically interesting I put a cartoon affect on him.This a portrait affect I put on London scenery. Sarz is proud to be from London so I incorporated it into the art work.

Indicating there will be swearing throughout the mixtape.

Snapback cap’s, a common accessory amongst rappers .

The “SARZ” I gave wings to show him as an artist is “fly” meaning good.

Back Cover & Examples The back cover I have not

made over intricate. This is because I noticed that

generally it is on image or just a background so you

focus on the track list.

The image of Sarz has been added for an aesthetic addition.

As Sarz becomes a bigger artist he ay be signed so the record label graphic may too be on the back.

As you can see in my examples these signed

artists all have that.

I included contact details and ways to

reach out to the artist. This is because he is

unsigned and someone who could influence his career may have stumbled across the

tape.

Magazine Advert & Examples I added facebook &twitter symbols to indicate to the viewer there are various ways to find out about the mixtape. Another convention I found, which is putting an image behind the letters adding an interesting affect.Adding the artwork is also conventional. It allows the audience to see it prior to purchasing.Having the release date is vitally important.

Inside cover and Examples

This is the final piece of art work that I constructed. This is the inside cover where the cd will lay.

Here I have found an example of an artist called Rick Ross’s inside cover and cd.

Combination of Ancillary Texts

Together my group and I used parts of all of our designs and decided on the final artwork pieces. We made sure that similar themes were used throughout so that when they are put together it would easily blend.
