• The NCF 2005 has recommended Art as a subject at all stages covering all four major spheres , music ,Dance, Visual arts and Theatre.
• It is mandatory for every school to allocate two periods of art in a week for classes I-X from 2019-20.
• In view of NCF and NCERT s recommendations , the CBSE board has made Art integration with education mandatory to spread awareness of India’s vast and diverse art and culture.
• Art Integration learning gives a true way for experiential and joyful learning development of enquiry and aesthetic skills
• NEP Guidelines- ECCE Framework -National Curricular and Pedagogical Framework Comprises of alphabets, languages, numbers, counting, colors, shapes, indoor and outdoor play, puzzles and logical thinking, problem-solving, drawing, painting and other visual art, craft, drama and puppetry, music and movement
