PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING FOR A SPECTATOR PASS
Step 1. Submitting an ApplicationIn order to submit your applicationto receive a Spectator Pass ahead of the Games, you need to goto pass.sochi2014.comor to one of the Spectator Registration Centers.
Step 2. Pick-up or DeliverySpectators may pick up their Spectator Passin person at one of the official Spectator Registration Centers in Sochi orMoscow by showing the ID indicated when they submitted their SpectatorPass application, or by using the postal service for a Pre-Valid SpectatorPass.Step 3. Activation Spectator Passes will be activated when the spectatorvisits a Spectator Registration Center in person and shows the ID indicatedwhen submitting the Spectator Pass application.

SPECTATOR SCREENING PROCEDURE AT THE VENUES
You will have to go through security checks upon entering thevenues. he personal security checks and the procedure for checkingpersonal belongings will be the same as those found at the airport.
Every spectator must:
have a valid ticket to the Games on their person for the accuratedate and session, plus a Spectator Pass;
present their personal belongings for checking;
follow the instructions of the Games staff.

MOUNTAIN CLUSTERS
A total of 11 sports venues have been built in Sochi for theGames the Mountain Cluster (Esto-Sadok, Krasnaya Polyana,and Rosa Khutor) and the Coastal Cluster (the Olympic Park).Te two Clusters are 48 km apart and linked by a high speedmodern transport connection.
KEY TIPS FOR VISITING SPORTS VENUES:
1 Before leaving your hotel always check transporttimetables.
2 o enter sports events you must present your valid ticket andSpectator Pass. If you dont yet have a Spectator Pass, findout how to get one.
3 A separate ticket is needed for each event. If you did notmanage to get tickets in advance, you may buy them atthe Main icket Centers or icket Box Offices at the Gamesdepending on availability. Buy your tickets in advance!
4 Visa cards and cash are the only accepted form of payment forall services at the venues.
5 Please allow time to go through security. Be aware of whatyou can and cant bring with you refreshments will beavailable at cafs and fast-food outlets at the venues.

RULES OF CONDUCT AT VENUES
Be careful when crossing the driveways, try to avoid slipperysurfaces (wet floor, ice);
It is prohibited to attempt to scale the fence, railings, lightingdevices, masts, supporting structures;
It is prohibited to smoke outside of designated and markedareas;
In the event of fire, or other emergency situations, keepcalm and immediately report them to any Games workforcerepresentative or law enforcement officer, and follow theirinstructions;
Unauthorized attachment of the permitted flags and bannerson the surfaces of buildings and/or structures in the Venues isprohibited;
Unauthorized presence on the competition in the aisles andon the stairs of sports facilities, as well as, obstructing themovement of participants and spectators is prohibited;
In order to avoid conflicts pay attention to the on-site warningand restrictive signs.
Food and drink products, including alcoholic beverages (withthe exception of childrens food and milk, no more than 1 literper child), thermos flasks and jars, glass containers and bottles,liquids with a total volume greater than 100 ml;
Flags and banners larger than 21 m, or the flags of countrieswhich are not participating in the Games. Printed literature,banners, banners with religious, political or offensive contentor content which is contrary to civil order and/or morals;
Any advertising materials;
Radio frequency equipment (with the exception of USBmodems, smart phones and telephones, security keys, medicalimplants, hearing aids), laser devices, tripods;
Devices creating excessive noise which may impede the stagingand watching of events (vuvuzelas, etc.);
Sporting goods and bicycles;
Any items which look like the aforementioned prohibited itemsor are copies of banned items.

he cultural program of the Games is a mix of all variety ofmultinational and the many aspects of the Russian culture presentedon ten scenic platforms and museums located in Sochi and KrasnayaPolyana. 83 regions of Russia have carefully selected the best of theirunique culture.he seventh Winter arts festival of Yury Bashmet which will take placefrom 6-20 February in the city of Sochi (Winter theater, the Hall oforgan and chamber music and other platforms) becomes one of thecentral events of the Games Cultural program. Festival guests are jazzbands, choreographic ensembles, performances of drama theaters,night film marathon. A number of exhibitions as well as leadingworld musicians master-classes and meetings will take place withinthe event.he Gala concert with the participation of leading soloists of theRussian ballet and concerts of the state academic ensemble ofnational dance in the name of Igor Moiseyev will take place at theZimny theater.You will find works of arts of all types, genres and the technics,executed by modern and young perspective local artists in the citymuseums.On the entire territory of Greater Sochi there will be 5 Live Sites, andthe Medals Plaza, where the artists from all the regions of Russia willperform.

MEDALS PLAZA IN THE OLYMPIC PARKhe Medals Plaza is located in the very center of the OlympicPark. During the day, from 13:00 to 17:00, the Medals Plazaworks as a Live Site, where you can watch the competition livefeed from both Clusters. From 18:30 the evening shows begin entertainment by the best performers of Russia, showing themany aspects of the cultural life of the country. Followed by theawards Ceremony and a headliners concert. Every evening morethan 20 000 people will come together at the award Ceremony.
