13. Designing in the browser
14. Focus on content We all interact with articles on the web
on a daily basis. On many news sites, its become normal to be
completely overwhelmed by content and adverts. Each of these
flashing and screaming at you to click on or read them. The article
page for UADigital.tv had all of these familiar requirements, but
we didnt want to let these dominate and distract from the most
important part, the content. Social integration can play a key role
in a website, but some can be over bearing - following your every
scroll. We decided to use social sharing options where theyre most
likely needed, at the beginning and the end of an article. We
included UADigital.tvs desired networks and additionally devised a
short url sharing link. This allowed the user to click and
automatically copy the link to their clipboard - generated uniquely
for each article in question. Originally, we didnt want to have a
side bar. Why be taken away from an article half way through the
reading expe- rience? But this is something that we compromised on,
in a minimal way.
15. Advertising Advertising is a necessary evil for any content
/news based publication, on or offline. This was a consid- eration
from the original briefing and one which we wanted to do as
tastefully as possible. Ads can be distracting and intrusive, we
wanted to limit this as much as possible. We removed the advert
clutter from side bar and tried to integrate these amongst the
content. An interesting side effect of handling adverts ourselves
meant adblockers fail to recognise and block the adverts, resulting
in a greater number of impressions.
16. Flash it out with us! We created an online banner campaign
for Acer. Ten flash banners for 15 websites in a week! That was a
real challenge and adventure. SP&A team was eager to continue
its banner trip and met clients expectations in creating a serie of
online banners for the major satellite operator in the world. This
was the first time when the regional agency was approved to

17. We expanded our digital advertising campaigns beyond
Russian-speaking audience and launched ad campaign in Georgia to
promote GeoDigital.TVs leaflet designed by our DTP team. Our banner
launched the satellite for Russia and Ukraine. We placed the banner
on three top-rated industry-related Russian media resources and
three top-rated Ukrainian media platforms. Lets design
