i think the reason they chose 600m is because it is exactly twice as tall as a supertall and by that it makes sense and is easy tocompare. In 10 years 600m buildings may be like 500m buildings are now, so it will still become a useful height for comparison withtime and is already in my opinion.

i just hope that these two buildings will nicely fit with the design of the main tower. hopefully the whole design won't change muchwith the decrease of the height and maybe the smaller towers will also be designed by the same architects that would at least makethe whole thing look great i guess. And yeah all these giant projects in seoul are far from each other and this one isn't surrounded
by already existing skyscrapers, which makes it quite cool that 50fl buildings are supposed to rise with it.

i am already amazed by 6-story malls looking up and down. but 40 story atrium will be killer __________________

Both of these atriums look beautiful but I'd rather have a massive concrete core in the middle of a building than such an atrium __________________The OutbreakNew Browser Online Stretegy Game beta round has startedhttp://www.the-outbreak.com/Be a mayor of a town in difficult times of an unknown virus pandemic killing millions of people across the United StatesBuild your town, expand it, trade, negotiate and wage war in a unique and original online real time strategy gameIf you're interested in this game, PM me and I will guide you through your first moves of building a town

Well guys at Som's seems to disagree on that one. But who are they? Just an architect studio with almost century of experience . Btw dmc tower design was proposed by som the very same who designed Jin Mao so its definitively not some crazy concept ideawith this super large atrium. They have experience in this stuff __________________PolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/CPolishTowersU/C

1. 5 years ago seoul goverment sold out own land for "to built Seoul land mark tower in sangamdong"
2. Daewoo Inc announce blueprint for 133 floors 630m.
3. World financial crisis hit the project.
4. Daewoo Inc suggested modified plan(reduce height 77floor + two 50floors)Rejected by Seoul
At the moment Daewoo Inc suggected new plan "100floors + two 50floors OR 103floors + one ?floors"__________________STOP DEVELOPING BORACAY ISLAND! | Protect BORACAY beach and sea.

100 floors will hardly be 640m, even with huge spire. I suspect 550ish height.

it is amazing that they want to stay with the original tall design, but what i am afraid of is that it results in a stalemate between themajor and the government and the project never gets a go, but right now it is not looking too bad. __________________

i wouldn't change the title as long there is still fighting over the developers. i mean inno just posted that the 103fl plan wasrejected. As long we have chaotic things with parties saying this and that and going back to previous statements i think we shouldjust let the title until we hear what final solution they came up with __________________

The thread title should have been 200 + floor tall landmark tower to begin with. That way, we know at lease by now we may have a133 land mark, even after accepting their greedy chicken shit floor reduction proposal. Seoul gov must stick with no floor reductionpolicy for this project. Thank you.
