Well-measured approach shots will be key to a low score today as the oversize greens accentuate the hilly topography.

built in 1911, the Monte carlo golf club is considered to be the côte d’azur’s most prestigious club. located 900 meters above sea level on Mont agel, this course features narrow fairways and a spectacular panorama.

touring passengers explore the exciting city of Monte carlo. We drive by the prince’s palace set high on the rock of Monaco as well as the neo-romanesque cathedral where princess grace and prince rainier were married. after lunch, there is free time to explore and visit the casino.

We have time to experience St-tropez, “the pearl of the riviera,” best known as a destination for the glamorous and illustrious. Golf: Golf de Terre Blanche —le châTeau

tucked away in the southeastern corner of provence is this dave thomas designed course—le château. the course winds its way through pine and oak forests and up to elevated tees where views of french villages and the rocky peaks of the alpes-Maritimes await. the course presents both technical challenges and charm with holes like number six where the green sits in the shadow of the course’s namesake castle.

founded in the 5th century as a greek colony, coastal antibes is one of the oldest cities on the côte d’azur. after strolling through the old town and provençal market, we visit St-paul-de-vence, perhaps the most famous of france’s artist villages. St-paul-de-vence has a style and charm that is evident in its tile-roofed buildings and tiny, winding streets. . . . . . . .September 21: portovenere, Italy

Sure to be a highlight of our riviera golf cruise, cinque terre is a favorite among Kalos guests. this uNeSco World Heritage Site is made up of five charming villages that sit suspended on the coastal cliffs of the italian riviera. the towns —Monterosso, vernazza, corniglia, Manarola and riomaggiore—are best accessed by boat. aboard our private craft we will make stops in two of the villages where you can disembark to explore on your own, enjoying shopping, cafés, and soaking up the italian coast.

described by many as robert trent Jones Sr.’s “Jewel in the Mediterranean,” golf de Sperone is well established as one of europe’s best courses. the 16th hole may be the most memorable. Similar to the 18th at pebble beach, this hole is framed by 100-foot sea cliffs on one side.

Tour: Bonifacio those on tour visit the medieval city of bonifacio. the town rises dramatically in tiers from the old port up to the genovese citadel. the fortifi cations dominate the promontory and the dramatic limestone peninsula that rises on sheer cliffs from the sea.

We bid farewell to Sea Cloud II in the port city of civitavecchia and begin transfers for home-bound flights. Many travelers may wish to extend their stay in rome, or join us on a short flight to Milan, where the extension tour stays at villa d’este on lake como, one of europe’s finest resorts.


This three-day tour takes us to Lake Como, Italy’s premier resort location. Accommodations are at Villa d’Este, once a 16th century private estate located in a 10-acre private park bordering Lake Como.

Golfers play Villa d’Este Golf Club, long a favorite among golfers from around the world, and considered to be one of Italy’s best courses. Designed by English architect Peter Gannon, this course has hosted twelve Italian Opens.

Enjoy a private lake cruise where we leisurely tour the mansions, gardens, and charming villages—including Bellagio—that lie on Lake Como’s shores. The range of activities at Villa d’Este, including tennis, canoeing, sailboating and world-class spa services, are sure to be the ideal close to our Riviera experience.
