Scrap Sock Yarn Hair Scrunchie
Quick, fun & easy, these hair-band covers are a great way to use up & showcase your precious scraps of hand-dyed yarn.

Materials & Tools 4ply Yarn, 4g / 15m / 16yds for each hairband. Hook – 2.5mm / C/2. Thick hairband, approx. 5cm in diameter, in a similar colour to yarn. Tapestry or wool needle. Notes: I have used Little Bird Sock, hand-dyed yarn which is 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon in the colourway “Let’s Get This Party Started” by Lottie Knits (www.lottieknits.com)
Key ch – chain dc – double crochet sc – single crochet sl st – slip stitch sp – space st(s) - stitch(es)

Start with a slip knot loop on your hook.

Row 1 : Insert hook through the centre of the band (fig. 1) and pull up a loop from the back (fig. 2), ch1 (fig. 3)
