All the same, bridges are designed by engineers in cooperation with architects; they are regarded as architectural struc-tures and are visible proof of the good results which can be created by the two groups put together. In order to be able to create good road architecture both in the open country and in towns, a good coop-eration between architects and engineers must be established.
Focus must be placed on the entity and the precise detail. Experience from the projects completed in recent years has shown that when this cooperation works well, it results in durable, beautiful and economically good solutions.
Architecture in connection with road construction must be planned and in-corporated right from the start and there should therefore be an overriding archi-tectural idea right from the outset of the project. It is of course presupposed that all technical conditions and demands are included in each project. The cooperation between the architects and engineers is very important for the final results, since the architectural quality in road projects
is created by an interaction between func-tionality, technology and creativity.
Our services range from Intersections Traffic Management Study to Geometric Design, as well as Traffic Operations and simulations using latest techniques. Traf-fic studies are based on sound quality data collection and appropriate analysis, con-sidering local conditions of the study area to satisfy the client’s needs.
Nevertheless, the department conducts topographic survey prior to geometric horizontal and vertical profile design, to select the best convenient and economi-cal route in addition to Geo-Technical, Traffic, Geological and Hydrological studies. It conducts Pavement Design, Storm Water Drainage, Structural, Light-ing and Traffic Light Signals to the best standards whilst applies applying safety procedures, estimate quantities, define special specifications, and prepare bid and contract documents.
SCG’S ACTIVITIESmanufacture, distribute and service a sus-tainable method of processing domestic sewage and purifying the water for irriga-tion and/or recycling.

Project Name Abdullah Al-Sharbatly Welfare CenterJeddah - Saudi Arabia
The intention of the client was to build a welfare center to pro-vide a full accommodation facility to the orphan girls. The ar-chitectural design is reflecting the two major components of the building program, the administration and the children facilities mass which façade is parallel to the street, while the children ac-commodation two symmetrical masses with intermediate court-yard at the back is parallel to the other facing edge of the site, with a trapezoidal plan shaped spine in-between tying the two components together The oval shaped restaurant mass works as the pivot ending the main spine and connecting the two compo-nents together with dynamic interesting form providing maxi-mum views from dining hall to the outdoor gardenand swimming pool.

Senior Consulting Group Prequalification document Ver. 1.01 Jan.2012-46
The site is along the main commercial street in Jeddah Al- Tahlia, at one of the main squares. The idea was to come up with a glittering eye catching jewel like element at the main corner of the site to be the main architectural design theme, while the SFB branch bank at the other corner with a design relates to the prototype of SFB. Getting away from the tradi-tional forms of the mall with high tech large suspended tita-nium cladding entry canopy, under which a large clear glass wall that shows the activities inside out. The curvilinear form of the internal spine makes all the retail shops inside a prime target to visitors.

The design is actually reflecting the new image of down town, the new image of Jeddah. A high-tech nice combination of aluminum cladding and wide elevations of structural glazing that gives a nice clear view for the offices and the mall. The integration of the masses is designed to keep the flow of employees and visitors as smooth as possible. A large shaded canopies supported with a number of huge columns capitalized with a light shaped structure gives an image of the sophistication of the building personality. The night lighting sys-tem gives the building a unique character that actually attracts people from all surrounding
