Tom lives in Edinburgh with his wife Fo. His home is located in Morningside which is regarded as one of the nicest parts of Edinburgh in which to live. It is a short walk
from Tom’s home to the local high street where you will find shops, cinemas, a market, pubs and eating places. It is a 5-10 minute
bus journey into the city centre or you could walk (about 25 minutes to the Royal Mile). In the city centre, you will find all the attractions and sights such as the castle, Holyrood Palace, Old Town and Parliament.
There are also theatres, restaurants, shops and pubs.

She has been teaching for many years but also thoroughly enjoys showing students the lively culture of her surrounding area. Lucy is located a 10 minute walk from all of the main sights in Bristol, so can offer a range of activities such as the Clifton Suspension Bridge, visiting Stokes Croft which is the birthplace of the graffiti artist Banksy and even a trip to the ancient Roman Baths in the nearby city of Bath. This course will enable students to gain an insight into the specific culture of western England, as well as British culture as a whole.
